If they don’t have a James Beard Award yet, they soon will! I love this restaurant! Everything is perfect!

I loveee Cucina. Especially for dinner. We did their valentines tasting menu and holy cannoli, it was superb. The wine pairings were very thought out and seriously I will dream of the mushroom pasta. When I come for brunch I’m always a fan of the patio, however the food options for breakfast/brunch aren’t quite as good as the dinner offerings. The laid back ambience and nice staff make it worth it though! Always a favorite.

This place has mágic chefs..I loved all the dishes we ordered. I had the ahi poke..so good. My wife and daughter had the mushroom dish and my son the fried avocado. Their waiters and waitresses were very attentive specially ours, I believe his name was Andrew. Can't wait to go back again and try their other delicious food 😋

Excellent food, excellent service. Super busy for Valentine's, of course, but no issues getting seated and fed quickly. Wagyu was perfect, and the ahi steak was like candy. More wine choices than almost anywhere else too. Not a cheap place, but that's probably to be expected. The Avenues is an old, tight neighborhood too, so parking is not the easiest, but on street parking is not a big deal.

I want to leave a real and factual review. I had so wanted to really like and support this little neighborhood bistro. I’ve dined all over the world and this food and menu was really, really strange. As if they are trying too hard to be artsy. “Chicken appendage?” I really eat almost anything but couldn’t stomach most of the items we got and shared. Octopus tentacle anyone? Literally went to In and Out burger later that night. Had hoped after seeing the menu that there would be a secret menu with spaghetti bolognese or lasagna. On the plus side, sangria was served frozen and was quite nice. Even really odd deserts like blue cheese ice cream. That was a hard pass for me. Waitress and cute helper were very very nice. A plus for cute building and decor. Please consider moderating the menu and we’ll be back. I appreciate what the chef is trying to do, but would suggest the do do as something to copy- avant-garde but also delicious.

Absolutely love their crab cakes! They always have awesome service. You can’t go wrong with indoor or outdoor seating. They used to have the best flatbread with jalapeños and a bean purée or something? But sadly it hasn’t returned for months! Still can’t go wrong with their whole menu!

I have nothing but praise for Cucina. I have been there numerous times both for dinner and for deli sandwiches and food during the day. In addition, my husband and I had our wedding dinner at Cucina.

The food is inventive and delicious. Don't worry if you're not 100% sure of the ingredient combinations; they will be absolutely fabulous every time. The wine offerings are numerous and always good. The setting is rustic and charming; by day a well-lit cafe, by night it is up-scale without being pretentious. The service is always friendly and attentive.

You won't regret a visit to Cucina! Whether for a coffee and breakfast burrito, or for a special dinner out, they do it all exceptionally well.

I had been here many times for lunch, but happened in for dinner and was WOW'd! First, the Service is outstanding. When this place calls themselves a Wine Bar, it is because everyone there is a wine professional. The recommendations for wine were A++ although I wonder if they'd even carry a glass that isn't amazing. The food, beautifully presented, HELLO! It is so good. Super cool flavor combinations, perfectly prepared. We were on the patio, which I heard has music on Saturday evenings, so I guess I'll be back. Oh and then there is the WINE. Yes, perfect.

Delicious food, great wine flight. Twinkly lights and soothing jazz music gave the place great atmosphere. Very attentive staff, will definitely be back

$15 for a 12oz bottle of beer, give me a break! If you want to sit around w/pretentious people try to impress each other by dropping huge wads of cash for food and beverage of little value, this is your place.
