Taylor Lamb (Be Light Candle Co)

Alchemy coffee is the jam, jam and the cream cheese filling when it comes to local coffee shops.

It is very eclectic and not your everyday coffee shop or Starbucks. Small locally owned (I believe or assume), and they have a decent amount of space in the back to work on homework or just get work done whatever it may be that you want some solitude to focus on.

I love the lavender lattes and they have different options for non dairy milk. Some of which are... oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk, and soy milk! The options are great and the coffee never tastes burnt.

Friendly staff and it is right next to the laundry Matt on 400. So if you’re doing laundry, definitely walk over, grab your favorite drink, and if the home decor store is open next door; check them out too! Not open super late, only until 6pm.

Great coffee recommended by a friend. I decided it check it out, as I am from out of town. Nice seating outside and inside. Most of staff was nice except one gentlemen who was snarky and rude. Interestingly enough it seems people in SLC are rude and generally not nice. Funny, considering this is such a small city.

If you’re looking for cappuccino don’t go there.
Plus not welcoming at all…

I went to pick up some vegan donuts there for a friend's birthday and the lady working was so friendly and easygoing. The donuts were amazing! The ambiance was so calming and welcoming. I intend to return for something to drink and add to my review. I love all the vegan options, it really sets it apart from most local coffee shops. I'll be returning!

Nice little coffee shop. Ordered to stay, and they made a nice little leaf design in the mocha latte. Not too pricey for a coffee shop, and the beans used weren't bitter like the large chain company which is very nice. Good place to go for a little warm brew. Buy local and support your local economy.

The inside of this establishment makes me happy. Great interaction with the proprietor of this shop and staff alike. Alchemy is rocking a Rancilio spring lever espresso machine and it pulls deep shots with an extremely heavy body that will blow your mind. Anyone who loves their modern espresso needs to come here and see what it's like when the skill of the person behind bar is absolute magic in the cup.

Fix your web page that says you are open Tuesday 6 to 9 pm for open Mic night

Great little coffee place. I love the atmosphere. The baristas are always friendly and fast. It is very dog friendly with a bowl of water outside the door, not to mention how most of the workers there coo over the dogs that come by. The prices aren't bad at all. They also support local artists. Love love love this little place.

I love this shop, it's cute and local and has an overall good atmosphere. The employees are incredibly nice and make sure your day is going good. This place definitely deserves a 5 star rating. I've been going here for years and I haven't found any other coffee shop that comes even close to being as good as Alchemy.

The cafe mocha is on point, the decor is cool with all the local art and overall theme. Staff very friendly. Parking limited but adequate.
