Rovalis Ristorante Italiano

Wonderful Italian menu. Great service. Owner came to the table to wish our granddaughter a Happy Birthday her 7th. Told her some jokes about a giraffe making her laugh. And made sure that we knew the menu specials for the day.

Best Italian dishes, and superior customer service. The atmosphere is great, but we will request a table away from the large windows adjacent to the outside sidewalk. Chocolate Decadent cake is luscious for chocolate lovers.

Rovali's is always fantastic. They have a lot of delicious options, daily specials, specialty drink and dessert menus, and even gluten free options! Its a go-to for me and my SO.

We just had a simple plate, but for just a small meatball sub, it filled 2 people. The garlic bread was fantastic. I would definitely go back

Four of us ate at this restaurant last night and loved it. The blue cheese salad dressing was unique and delicious! And my chicken parmigiana was great! My wife got a combo with lasagna and liked it a lot. The pizza also looked wonderful. The service was great and the bright colors inside and outside the restaurant were very cheerful. Can’t wait to go back. Wish we lived closer.

Update: We went to this restaurant again tonight. We had pre-ordered a birthday cake that was chocolate cake with whipped white frosting. It was also fantastic!

This was one of the worst 'Italian' dinner experience we have ever had, super disappointed! And I am really not expecting real Italian food here in Ogden ... but this was not even close.
First, the Lasagne was ordered with meat sauce but what we got was marinara. All the marinara was on top and really nothing! in between the pasta layers. Not a lasagne at all! The second meal was Proscuitto Tortellini ... the description in the menu sounded delicious, but when I opened the box I honestly thought this is a joke. Look for yourself, pictures are attached. I understand that it is difficult or probably impossible to present a meal in a takeout box the same way you can present it on a plate while dining in. However, you can do it for sure better than what was delivered to us. The 'Italian' cheesecake (btw there is no such a thing as cheesecake in Italy) was supposed to have a "beautiful almond crust ... topped with raspberry and chocolate sirup". Well see for yourself, picture attached. First time, last time!

Service and dessert was amazing! The staff is all so welcoming and friendly. The appetizer was excellent and so was our meal, the only downside I felt like the chicken was a little over cooked but besides that our family loved it!

Not my kind of Italian food (I was just in Italy 5 months ago). The prices listed here are about $2 less than IRL. So for the Trio I paid $17.99 instead of $15.99. It came with Alfredo (blah/bland), ravioli - meh 🫤, and lasagna. Strangest lasagna I ever had - it was like lasagna noodles layered with cheese covered in meat sauce - leaving me asking - Where’s Da Beef?!?!? Absolutely NO meat but since it didn’t have zucchini ???? It was therefore the meat sauce. 🤔 very tomato-y. I also ordered a side of steamed veggies, they came cold for about $5. The food wasn’t hot, maybe luke warm at best. Got the cheese cake to go (it looked good) on the way out the door - for $8 - was a bit too sweet for me and the crust, though thick, was very crumbly. For the price, not worth it.

Honestly I give Rovalis 5 stars for two reasons. First reason incredible customer service, As soon as you walk in they are friendly as friendly can be. to me that's important and second the food was absolutely amazing, so good i ate the rest of my girlfriends plate. No lie if you have never ate here before I would completely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Super delicious!! Love the food and the owner is awesome and a hard worker! If you love dessert than getting one is a MUST! My favorite is the Chocolate Decadence 🤤
