Willow Canyon Outdoor

Just stopped in for coffee based on the recommendation of our hiking guide Gary (good coffee in an outdoor store? We had to check the last out!!) … and for our trouble we found an awesome Outdoor store as well. Has an excellent selection of gear for hikers, campers and trekkers and a nice variety of books for the same audience and more. Charlie's got a gem of a place here… so good we came back the next day before leaving Kanab. Would be our goto coffee shop if we were locals. Thanks for the great coffee and conversation Charlie!

Saved our trip. Arrived in Sunday Eve town but forgot some essential item. Willow canyon outdoor had everything we needed plus a few extra things to make our adventures more comfortable. A coffee and bookstore in addition to quality adventure gear and maps! Clean. Welcoming and organized.

My husband and I always stop here for an excellent cup of coffee whenever in the area. There is a pretty comprehensive bookstore with local and Arizona/Utah places to explore. The outdoor clothing and supply portion of the shop is well stocked. To top it off the staff is friendly and helpful with questions a customer may have.

Pleasantly surprised by the amount, and quality, of the gear sold. Pretty much everything you would need in a pinch for backpacking or hiking. OR, Patagonia, Royal Robins, MSR, Therm-a-Rest, Black Diamond, Osprey. Great selection. Also, they have coffee.

I'm in love with the coffee shop in this business! The store itself has a lot to offer so if you're in the area, I recommend checking it out. But the little coffee counter served the BEST latte I've ever had. I actually ordered a second one while waiting for him to make my friends. Then she ordered a second as well. I don't know what magic this man has with the coffee but it was top notch!

Came in because I needed a day pack that would fit my Osprey reservoir; found a great selection of outdoor gear from casual day hiking to more serious backpacking. Got a iced latte on the way out too- excellent!

Willow Canyon Outdoor is at the top of my list every time I visit Kanab. It’s a great store with the outdoor gear you might want while you’re in the area, and the staff can help with suggestions, directions, anything you like. They have the best coffee in the area. Most of all, though, it’s Charlie and the staff that make it such a great place to visit. They’re warm, friendly, helpful and kind, and they’ll make you really feel welcome. That’s a great thing to find anywhere. Willow Canyon Outdoor is a treasure. Drop in, have some coffee, say hello. You’ll love them.

I had a fantastic experience here. I came for the coffee. And I wasn't disappointed. I asked if they could give me advice on a place to take the dog. They recommended a nearby reservoir. I asked questions about where to go next, they offered more advice.

I realize there are probably so many visitors who want information and I am sure that can get annoying. But they were so friendly and helpful. Their advice was perfect. The store had a lot of great quality hiking and rock climbing equipment. I'm sure there was a lot more but I was focused on coffee and dog 😉
