Brown Box

This was our first stop in Kanab because we had to try the ice cream sandwiches! They were great and the regular food menu looked so good we got some grilled cheese and soup too, also great. They had a lot of cute things for sale inside like water bottles, stickers, soaps as well.

Everything we ordered at BrownBox was so delicious! The monthly special was the roast beast with au jus and it was so good. If you drive though Kanab you need to stop and you need to get a Kanookie, they do not disappoint! Don’t forget to do a cheese pull. Be sure to look at the pictures and read their stories. Nate and Bobbies icecream is fabulous. We will be customers everytime we are in beautiful Kanab.

Amazing food and service here! Prices are very reasonable and everything is homemade. Brown Box has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

THE BEST !
I was in Kanab for only one day but going to the Brown Box was worth it ! I bought 🌵cactus earnings ! Sooo pretty , unfortunately one is broken because of the transport but still I'm able to wear them . I also bought soap Sleigh ride ... THE BEST SOAP I EVER BOUGHT !!! Literally the smell of it , how it looks like I LOVE IT . If you are there just Do not think - buy ! Really the best !!! The staff was so friendly ! One of the best places in Kanab !

Great little spot! Had an awesome grilled cheese and fresh cream of tomato soup. The lemon bar had been baked that day and was to die for!

This place! We travel quite a bit and always look for local gems. Brown box does not disappoint! We were in Kanab for two days and ate there 3 times! The grilled cheese sandwiches were tasty and hearty, and perfectly paired with their tomato soup. The combo came with a homemade cookie of your choice. We had several different varieties and I can tell you our favorite! That being said. The kanookie ( ice cream, 3 cookies, Carmel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream, is the best thing on the planet! One night that’s what I had for Dinner! Everything we were served was fresh and delicious. Staff was amazing and the cafe was charming. Right now it is closed on Sunday. Go now!

Probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. We went there for lunch but will be going back later for ice cream! The owners are so personable and the food is delicious. It's the perfect balance of simple and still having something for everyone. You couldn't go wrong with any of the options. Great ambiance and local boutique in the front as well. Will be sending our friends here!

Visiting the area since it was central for a lot of the National Parks and wanted to go some place special for my birthday and I got the double chocolate Kanookie with vanilla icecream. It was the best thing ever!! The cookie was soft and gooey on the inside with a slight crunch on the outer edges. My husband got an orange dream icecream which was also yum!

Absolutely delicious - grilled cheese, tomato soup, cookies and the ice cream! In town for 2 nights and we ate here both nights because it was sooooo goooood.
