Green River Coffee Co

My traveling companion and I received prompt, courteous, personalized service at 11am on a Tuesday. We enjoyed the eclectic assortment of collectibles on display (and for sale) in the shop. Our conversations with the owner were enjoyable and informative. IMHO coffe is the easy part. Ambiance can't be bought. Cool little spot.

I asked for a frappuccino and it was runny. The coffee flavor was great even though the texture was not correct. The owner was not nice, a picture was taken of me on her cell phone and then she proceeded into her room where her cameras are. I had come from her back room to the other side of the shop to check on my dog through the window. It was a very strange experience for me. I would not recommend this place to anyone even though the coffee was pretty descent. I have no idea if she still has the picture or what she was going to do with it. must admit it was a little odd and a first time experience for me.

Great coffee. Service needs work. It looked like three of the four employees were being trained. There was no one ahead of me but it took 20 minutes to toast my bagel and put a schmear on it for my to go order. I don't think they worked on it until I asked for an ETA on the bagel. The pesto smear was tasty, but the thickly cut prosciutto was inedible. Maybe it took 15 minutes to slice the prosciutto? I'll be back for coffee and will pick up breakfast elsewhere.

The food is amazing! People are sweet. The spot is really nice and relaxing, It has such a nice welcoming vibe with food made with much love and care. Even my gf who is super picky really liked everything she had from the place. I recomend the crepes and thick real fruit smoothies and hot chocolate. Ill be stoping by anytime I'm passing through, Enjoy :)

Friendly small town atmosphere, good food, and great coffee. Spent time sitting outside visiting with folks who come every morning for their coffee and share tales of the area. Mostly open just mornings. But has been open for lunch at certain times of the year. Unique atmosphere. Would recommend a stop whenever passing through Green River.

On a hot day, lack of air conditioning was a problem for me in this otherwise pleasant place with tasty food. Other people had the tables with the breeze, so i took my food back to our motel. There's outdoor seating which would have been okay at a cooler time of day.

Place with specific atmosphere! They roast they own coffee and its really tasty. So stop by!

Just wanted some coffee, asked for the house blend, tasted like burned popcorn. I thought it could have been because I got the last cup in the thermos but my friend got the first glass of the next pot, still tasted like burned popcorn.. For all the traffic this place had at 7am, I thought a basic cup of coffee wouldn't have been that bad. Happy to support the locals but I would have rather got coffee from Maverick or McDonald's based on how it tasted.

5 stars without the presence of the owner. First bad service experience on my trip to the US.

I was utterly unsurprised when looking at the poor reviews - they break into two clear areas. First is the patchy opening times. The second is the awful demeanour of the owner, the five star reviews are simply the experiences people had when they didn't meet her.

The younger girl was friendly and personable, and cooked the food which was good and priced reasonably, in a comfortable and authentic venue. Hence 3 stars.

Such a shame, it could be a famously good location if you remove the sour influence of the owner.

They had great breakfast burritos and horrible customer service. It took about 30 minutes to get our 3 burritos to go. The lady taking our order was clearly much more interested in her laptops than in customers and actually told us to hurry up while ordering so she could get back to her laptop....
