Kiva Koffeehouse

I am so glad we stopped here! What a beautiful place to sit and look at the stunning canyons, while you have a latte and some food:) and the girl working there today was super friendly and helpful, and the other person there was really nice as well. We had the Cheese & Chili Tamales, and they were really good with the salsa that came with it, and it also comes with a little side salad with pumpkin seeds and dried cherries. The Overnight Oats were also really delicious, and has chia and flax seeds, and also golden raisins. My boyfriend and I shared it all, and it was quite filling. We also had the Hazelnut Latte as well as the Chai, and they were both very good as well. Definitely stop in here:) the views are seriously amazing.

Absolutely adore the Kiva and all it’s offerings! The people, the place and the palate pleasing food makes this a worthwhile stop for all adventurers to fuel or refuel in the gorgeous backdrop of Escalante.

This place is more beautiful than the the pictures. Great place to stop. Great coffee and cakes. Wonderful atmosphere and amazing views. Check out the the local art for sale. You will miss it if you drive past the entrance... So punch it in the navApp

Hwy 12 is a gorgeous scenic drive and this is a good spot to enjoy the view. There is wifi and a patio were we enjoyed our drinks with our dog. The iced chai I tasted a little too much like ginger but the ambiance was so great that still had to give 5 stars.

The place was packed with people hiking, backpacking and traveling through Utah and had firewood for sale ($5).

Nice building but overpriced and slow service. Coffee was way too thin. Wouldn't stop there again.

I travel pretty extensively all over the country & any time I'm in the area I make sure to stop in here. The food is incredible & so are the drinks. The people that work here are awesome & knowledgeable of the area. Five stars all the way. Don't forget to get some of the tasty snacks for the road....

Located in a place with fantastic views, and mouth watering pastries on scenic Highway 12. Stop in when you are in the area. Then continue North, get your camera out and enjoy the great views and photo ops on the Hogback.

Friendly service. It is such a beautiful spot with a great view. We loved the raspberry scones and the coffee. It is a perfect stop after a hike at Escalante River.

The most unique stay overseeing the valley and beautiful sunset. There is only 2 towels so that's the only concern. The brunch is good but the waitress lady is a bit sassy to make sure we don't get an extra donut for our stay at cottage, haha.
