Amazing view with decent coffee - much better than you find on most American spots and a total surprise given its location. They actually know how to froth milk properly!
The burrito was very well done, and whilst we didn’t try them the cakes and desserts looked good.
To top it off the place has stunning panoramic views from every table.

An unexpected jewel in the desert and a MUST place to visit while in Escalante or just driving through. Best cappuccino, coffee , lunches and baked goods in southern Utah. The view from inside is just as nice as from the patio. Great staff, great prices, almost too low for the quality you receive.

A gem in the wilderness!
Incomparable location, very thoughtfully maintained.
The design is one thing, but it's amazing that the place is being managed with so much spirit and care.
If you're lucky, Dave is there in his colorful shirt, demonstrating some of his Anasazi tools (and his vast knowledge about cultures in the entire world).
BTW, the pastries (fresh baked raspberry scones) and coffee are two classes above everything else in the area.
You have to visit!

I’ve never been so excited for a coffee shop to simply exist, when we turned the corner and I saw there was a coffee shop it made my afternoon. I had no idea there would be a coffee shop in the vicinity. The view from the shop is incredible and the iced latte was delicious and a had good shots of spro.

An amazing refuge along Hwy 12 peeks out of the cliffs like a traditional kiva, allowing incredible views of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Along with great coffee and pastries, the coffeehouse sells local pottery and indigenous jewelry. Since it’s closed during winter, getting in on their last day open (Oct 30) was a treat. Something to look forward to!

We had coffee here after our stay at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. Loved the vibe and the views are too die for ...
Coffee was above average, and the service was wonderful.
This will be our go-to place for coffee on our future visits to the area!

Room was beautiful and the view was just as amazing. Only reason I'm leaving four instead of five were there were a few quirks...no trash cans in the room (weird), no extra towels. Also the staff at breakfast were a bit snippy with us about asking for a pastry with breakfast (we were planning on paying for it but they got so hyper fixated on the fact that it wasn't included as part of the breakfast package that we told them to forget it). But a cool little stop nonetheless.

Stumbled upon this place driving thru to Bryce Canyon. I stopped for a cappuccino, it was great.

Nice spot with a good menu during normal times. Dining is outside and covid precautions are still being strictly followed. The day we visited the menu was not complete due to low staffing and chaos reigned. We ordered 1 of 2 items they were confident they had/could make and then waited approx 30 mins for our food while some lady named Gail ignored them calling her like 20 times. The food was good as usual, I remember it fondly from being a child. This place is extremely remote and I’m sure employees are hard to come by so I understand the staffing issues. If you’re reading this years from now, post covid, treat this as a 5 star review. But right now, during covid the place is more like a 3. I love it and it’s an important part of my memories growing up so I’m not rating it that but just know things are going to be chaotic. If the nostalgia factor is worth it for you like it was for me then by all means go but plan a good chunk of time and be prepared for a limited/mystery menu.
