Great coffee! The bottomless is a great deal and quality cup of joe. Baristas has always been friendly. Pastries and kolaches are excellent, too. Neil is an outstanding manager.

Olympia beans, very tasty. Looking for quality coffee in Waco go here

Truly the best coffee and cocktails in central Texas! Coffee from Olympia Roasters in Washington, and craft cocktails and wine that changes seasonally. Great downtown location with windows on 3 sides, a breathtaking view of the courthouse and the historic ALICO building! Worth a visit!

Lighthouse has recently been revitalized and I must say that the place is phenomenal! When I first came to Waco, I was consistently recommended to try certain coffee shops that receive a lot of attention in the Waco area. Although I will say that some of them were good, a couple of them were completely overrated. Beware of which coffee shop you go too! I have witnessed terrible customer service and stomache-urching hygiene issues at certain places. All of this to say, I have not had a single issue with Lighthouse! They stock the the best coffee I could find in Waco, and the customer service is clearly held to a golden standard! Not only that, their orignal syrups that they use have blown me away! I highly recommend coming here for amaizng coffee, wine, and cocktail services!

Many of the “5 star” comments/reviews above are made by management, staff, and close friends of staff in the last 24 hours after it was reviewed that they stole their so called “house” recipe from another local business, Loyalhood Syrups (who used to supply them if you’ve been there in since they’ve opened). This, as well as the mistreatment and horrible mismanagement of employees, is unacceptable. And while their coffee and building atmosphere is enjoyable, I refuse to support this business and encourage everyone else to do so. Pinewood, Dichotomy, Kurbside Coffee, and Common Grounds (as well as others) are all local coffee shop alternatives that you should support.

Pretty sure I'm lighthouses #1 fan. Seriously. The study vibes are immaculate (especially on rainy days), the coffee is my favorite in Waco, and the staff is just the best! Also, the pastries the bomb

Staff was "too cool" to have a conversation or give recommendations. Poor selection of food/snacks Coffee was great though. Worth giving it another go but so far other places around town after much better.

Best gourmet coffee in Waco. They source high quality coffee beans and make perfect espresso.

Ownership does not care about people.
Facebook post from a friend of mine:
“Waco folks: I will never give Lighthouse Coffee & Wine a dime again. You shouldn’t either. They stole this idea and recipe from a dear friend of mine and his startup syrup company after he worked at Lighthouse for about a year and was let go due to COVID-19 financial struggles. I’d encourage you to support local businesses who do not engage in sneaky dealings, backstabbing, and under-the-table exchanges. There’s SO MUCH good coffee in Waco... go support Common Grounds or Pinewood who are also both local roasters.
There’s right and wrong in business practice, and in this situation, Lighthouse clearly chose to do the unethical, cheating thing instead of the right thing. Support your local Waco businesses who do things the right way.”

What I like most is they have several types of teas that have no caffeine. So this is a great place to go in the afternoon and have a nice drink that won’t keep me up all night. Put it over ice, and it’s great!
