Had an absolutely wonderful experience at this coffee shop in Waco yesterday. The barista was incredibly friendly and kind, and not in a forced customer service type of way. Just genuinely happy to help and in a wonderful mood. The shop itself is very aesthetically laid out, with a great selection of coffees, teas, and wines. It's not an enormous menu, but it doesn't need to be. Everything we had was delicious and if you're a fan of tea you should try the white peony, it was wonderful iced! My favorite experience there, however, was stepping into the restroom to find a complimentary assortment of feminine products. It's small touches like that which truly elevate a business from customer friendly to customer oriented. Strongly recommend this coffee shop to anyone in the Waco area, whether just for the day or a long-term resident!

I tried their lavender coffee and it was amazingly good. You can customize however you want, the lady was very friendly , you can sip coffee and chill there for several hours and you won’t get bored.
There’s wall art down the street as well so ; this is your place guyss.

Lighthouse is an excellent place for coffee and cocktails. The staff truly know their work and are truly hardworking, they do their job very well - always quick to make you happy and comfortable, they work very hard at helping people, creating a nice atmosphere, and also working on their techniques and skills with cocktails, and coffee drinks. Never had a bad experience here - highly recommend for a “quick visit” or “sit & stay”. Other “bad reviews” people have made for Lighthouse is just purely due to misunderstanding and negative energy from the reviewer themself. Please try lighthouse out, promise you’ll enjoy the experience and or make a friend! :)

Beautiful little shop. Friendly and delicious. They had great suggestions on drinks, the drink aesthetics were beautiful ... the vibe was pleasant. I 1000% recommend

Dang, Lighthouse, if I lived in Waco I would come here EVERY day! We came in on a Sunday needing caffeine BADLY and the barista took the time to get to know me, what my favorite coffee drink was and what he thought I would like best. I got an americano with their House Syrup and it was the BOMB!!! Check the video of what my friend got— that’s nutmeg he is grinding in by hand, ladies and gentleman! Art as coffee and coffee as art 😍 Not to mention, damn good music. Highly recommend!!

Thoughtful and intentional service. The products they serve are delicious and are made with quality and care. I love it when a small business pays attention to details and the customer experience. We will be back!

I love coming here for study sessions or evening drinks with friends. I love the music and the atmosphere. Their employees are super engaging and genuine and are very knowledgeable about their craft.

Have been here several times in the past with good experiences and often bring other colleagues and faculty here when in town for work. However, myself and our Baylor faculty team stopped in early one morning this past week and ordered drinks to go, as our work spaces are within walking distance. While exiting, we noticed my cup and my cup only had a cryptic message hand written on it in red marker… “You’ll never be bioluminescent.” Very creepy! We won’t be back.

Very unwelcoming employees.
As a college student, I planned to study for 6 hours at lighthouse coffee. I was told to "buy something or leave" in the harshest tone by an employee Sunday 11/27. Just because I don't purchase a coffee within the first hour of being at lighthouse coffee, does not mean I won't buy one 3 hours into my studying as mid-study energizer. All because I hadn't bought something I was treated very unkindly. If I'm expected to purchase something, an employee should say "Excuse me ma'am, it's policy that our customers buy something to use our space" BEFORE telling me to "buy something or leave". Lighthouse coffee has lost my business. That was the most unwelcoming experience I've had. I bought something AND left because of how unwelcomed I felt.
