Great breakfast place! Omelette was delicious. Angie is an awesome server! If you are ever in Waco, check this place out. They will treat you right.

Cute idea of a restaurant. You could tell that it is a popular restaurant, and that it probably used to be real good, but today I wasn't impressed. The food was good, and well prepared - and the selection was great. The prices were also very reasonable. What wasn't so great was the service. Waited a solid ten-fifteen minutes for my water and my coffee. Once I got my coffee (bottomless cup) no one ever offered to refill it. No one checked on us for anything and when we did manage to flag someone down, they didn't seem interested in helping.
Our wait staff didn't seem to know fairly basic answers to questions about the menu items.
Also, the restroom was dirty due to a commode that didn't work properly.
Nice local place, nice atmosphere, good food and selection, but needs help with their service.

If you are a younger person, the things that bothered me, would not bother you. We had tobuse a bar code placed 3ft above our head to check in and tell how many, even though 2 hostesses were standing in front of us. Luckily I had an adult daughter with me.
Took 25 to take our order. Great food, loved the tables. At 64, I felt everyone but the waitress decriminalization and looked down on me because I did not know what to do.
I am from a small rural town. We don't use bar codes and apps. When u asked the male and female hostess what happened if someone could not use app, they shrugged their shoulders.
When I finally asked someone if we could order food, she told me, "I am a hostess, I don't take orders." I had to ask, Could you get our waitress? " snotty attitude.

Banana nut bread French toast was amazing. Husband liked the eggs, ham, hash browns, and giant pecan pancake. Espresso and coffee were decent. Great view of the Alico building out the giant windows. Got to check out a little Farmers market across the road Saturday. That was nice. Big parking lot and lots of dining space.

A great breakfast to wrap up our spontaneous weekend getaway to Waco. My husband loved the Mexican scramble. I appreciate the gluten-free options on their menu- the GF chocolate chip pancake was very good. The portions were more than we could eat.

The breakfast burrito is huge !! We saw it was voted #1 breakfast - it is!!

The food here was pretty good and I might go again, but the wait times were incredibly long for how busy things were inside. I highly suggest you get-in-line on the website before going over unless you want to stand around a half hour. They had a good selections of tea and the banana nut French toast was interesting. My wife loved her breakfast burrito and it was quite large. It was a good way to start the day.
If it were up to me I'd knock out the half walls and add bar-style seating at the counter, then they didn't have to waste big tables on parties of 1. That said, the long wait may be attributable to going on Sunday, it seems a surprising number of restaurants in that area are closed Sundays, leaving few choices to anyone visiting the city. I've no doubt if literally any other restaurant opened for Sunday breakfast they would do well and help alleviate the long wait times everywhere else.
