Best place to have quick and tasty breakfast

This was not bad....
I generally don't eat a Waffle House but was staying at a local hotel and after taking a couple mile walk figured I could stand to put some calories back on. 😅
I enjoyed it, kinda reminded me of an old diner from the 50's Era. The breakfast platter with eggs, home fries, bacon, toast and waffles was great..the coffee was decent as well.

It was awesome. Just what you expect. The staff is super friendly and just down home folks. If by chance there is anyone who has never visited a Waffle House, then I suggest you give it a try.

What?! A 5 star waffle house?!? The wait staff here are great, it gives it an old school diner feel. Cooks knock those simple breakfast plates out of the park and give it that down home country cooking feeling. Do they get it right everytime, generally, but even momma messes up sometimes. Haha. Late night it has more of an eclectic (rowdy) crowd that may not be your cup of tea.

I’ve been to many waffle houses in my life, all over the country. I never write reviews but I felt the urge to finally do it because of this Waffle House. The waffle was crispy on the edges, the sausage could be gummed down without teeth, the hash browns were crispy, and the bathroom was pristine. Even the staff actually enjoy each other’s company, unlike every other Waffle House that’s full of drama. Some people come for that drama though.

I knew this place was good when I saw one of the cooks smoking out front, but it still blew my expectations.

I feel like I was discriminated against bc me and my husband waited for 15mins before we were even recognized by the waitress. Was not even greeted when we walked in the door and there was only four people waiting on To go orders that were already being prepared, but as soon as a black lady walked in the was helped almost immediately. My order was completely wrong and my husband's was almost wrong except for his sausage. She walked past a group of four people that walked in after us at least 4 times and only acknowledged them when they tried to sit in a booth that she "reserved" for the black lady that just stood there at the bar like she was placing a to-go order instead of sitting in the booth when she came in. We where extremely disappointed in the service we received when we know it not usually like that. 😡😡

On our trip from San Antonio, we stopped here going to and coming back from Louisville Kentucky. Had the same waitress both times and she was a joy to talk to. Very nice and friendly and she took great care of us at 3-4AM. Service was excellent...🙂👍👍
