The only places open for breakfast in the area. But we need to get some energy for the hike. The line was long because you only have a small counter to order food and pick up. Then you find a table outside to eat. There’s a big menu but the price is quite high. I got the Orange Juice which is in a tiny cup for $5. And my breakfast burrito is more like a breakfast taco size very small and just little scramble eggs and barely see the churrizo inside.

Perfect location for your morning breakfast needs ! Lots of breakfast options but my favorite was the breakfast burritos! Everything is fresh and it tastes like a real homemade breakfast! Great, breezy outdoor seating and very clean bathrooms! Note: you will have to battle the flies for your food to the death! But… #worthit. If you don’t like flies - avoid desert. Also, wifi goes in and out. Have cash, just in case their card reader is down.

Probably the best food you can get in town. Breakfast was solid and coffee is great.

We stayed 4 days in Terlingua and this place was our go-to breakfast place, so much that we made a point stopping by before hitting the road for last leg of our roadtrip. Food was great, freshly prepared, my kids loved their refried beans, my husband enjoyed their potato/avocado burritos and myself tried their tuna sandwich which was REALLY good and I'm picky with my tuna salad, I love that it wasn't mainly made put of mayo, you could taste all the ingredients. I also had their breakfast burrito and Mexicana burrito and both were delicious, I love that their potatoes are small cubed potatoes and not gigantic chunks as a lot of breakfast places do. They also will refill your ice tea and were very nice and patient enough to accommodate my husband and my diet (vegan for him and lactose intolerant for me). AND the place is really cute too, my daughter now wants to decorate her room in the same colorful patterns they have on their tables and stools lol
I wish I had pictures of the food but we always inhaled it too quickly.
Just try it out, I don't think you'll regret it, you might just like us only wish they'd be open all day and not close at 2pm 😊

Really delicious food. Coffee was great, music playing was fun. If you are in the area definitely make a stop by for some breakfast! Outdoor, spaced seating area plus mandatory mask while ordering (limit of one person inside) so felt very safe

Very nice lunch!! I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was good, could have used a little spice to it but it was tasty. Next time I will get a coffee!

The courtyard space is like a oasis in the desert. The Rueben sandwich is pretty good.

First, let's get the negative out of the way. Please read my whole review, I have positive things to say. Ok! So... THEY HAD HORRIBLE COFFEE. Omg. Like some of the worst I've had. Second, the clerk who rang us out kept doing other things as she was taking our order, it was weird because I didn't know whether to stop talking until she could pay attention or not. I didn't want her messing up my order. Example: I approached the register and she asked what I wanted, I said as I took a step back to look at the menu above me "I will have..." And she was gone, making something in a corner barely visible in my line of sight, I had to scoot over and peek over the counter to see her to make sure she didn't just disappear on me. Lol like what the heck. Rude. That continued throughout my interaction with her. Anyways, the ladies cooking food don't speak English. Which is okay, but their reaction is not. When I approached them asking where I put my plates, they just laughed and stared at me. Like wt# that was so awkward and rude. Ok so good stuff, the food was great! It came out quick and I freaking loved it. So did my fiance. Very tasty and awesome flavor. Loved the salsa too. We had breakfast here btw. Anyways, so the decor and the whole place overall was freaking cute, clean, amazing, lovely... Just wow I wish I had a house like this, with plants and decorations like they had. Loved it so much. I could sit there all day and chill and enjoy the scenery in the place and also around it. Great spot!

Rarely am I blown away from delicious coffee and breakfast food but surprise surprise it happened here. My iced coffee and chorizo breakfast burrito were outstanding. Their tortillas are incredible. I would come back just to eat here again. Great outdoor eating vibes. Friendly service. A real gem no doubt.

We ate here twice in our short stay in the area. The breakfast food is what drew us here in the first place, but the coffee (French press) was also excellent. The outdoor seating is lovely. We're came back for lunch later in the week and enjoyed that meal as well. The Reuben was excellent (pictured).
