1914 Coffee House

This place is definitely what Temple needed as a coffee shop, it's very different nice comfy atmosphere. The staff is very nice shows great hospitality. The spinach & feta cruffin & 1914 coffee is sooo delicious! The prices are very reasonable and portion size is perfect. I will definitely be back!

Super nice atmosphere amd had the Sausage amd Gravy Cruffin and it was super good! Good strong coffee, and the WiFi is fast.

Super adorable, inviting, and lively place! Super friendly staff and DELICIOUS coffee. I got a butter pecan oat milk latte and my man got a hot chocolate. The espresso was so smooth and lightly sweet, the hot chocolate came with cinnamon steamed in and it was SOOOO good! Friendly and accomodating staff, and considering how busy they were, they were fairly quick. This is my new go-to coffee shop! (Yes, even over Starbucks)

I had the Spinach and Feta Cruffin and my husband had the sausage gravy cruffin and they were both absolutely AMAZING. We will be customers for life.

Didn’t take any pics but this place is great. Will update review again later when I go back. Didn’t get to try a cruffin because they were all out. Coffee is well roasted and tastes good. Even sweet drinks didn’t taste overly sweet to me.
Location is gorgeous and clean, nice seating all over. I do wish there was a taller table, the muffins we ate went everywhere.

One small complaint, the Apple Cinnamon muffin has raisins in it and raisins are the devil. Please warm people there are little demon raisins inside the muffin. (Sorta joking)

You will be blown away! The place is so cute and the people are so friendly. There are a couple separate rooms with seating if you want to be away from the crowd. They make it possible to have a relaxing chat with your friends or read or do your work on a laptop (other coffee places blast music too loud for that). Also, their chocolate chip cookies are amazing! Get one! You'll thank me. All their edible treats are delicious. And they have fruity energy drinks like 'Snow on the Beach' that are delicious too.

This place is absolutely amazing! From the first time I walked in, I knew I found my coffee shop. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff greets me with the warmest welcome in town each visit. Their attention to detail was impeccable, making me feel like a VIP throughout my visit addressing me by my name a week later and knowing when I veer off my usual order.

The service was top-notch who were eager to help, answering all my questions with a genuine smile. The owners are always in the building, leading by example. I was amazed by their menu and its originality. The quality was unparalleled, exceeding all my expectations. As I write this review I am eating their lemon blueberry muffin and it tastes JUST like a pop tart!

What truly set this place apart was their value for the community. It's rare to find a business that not only excels in what they do but, also cares about the people they serve. Not only is this coffee shop in a beautifully remodeled home, it FEELS like home.

I'm a delivery driver from Lorena that happened to be delivering in Temple today. I delivered here. Very glad to have found this gem of a place. It was busy but the atmosphere was still comfy. The Americano and cookie I got really hit the spot and brightened my day. Going to take my wife soon. She's going to love it.

Temple has needed a quaint coffee shop without for a LONG time. Thank you 1914 for filling that role and doing it well and with a friendly attitude and great atmosphere. The house is beautiful and the people are kind. Rare find in the coffee shop business. Best to you for years to come!
