One of two places in town that has beer on tap.
Changing variety of tap selections and large list of selections from the cooler.

While visiting sweetwater we stopped in and got a couple drinks and my wife bought a book. The guy making the drinks was totally awesome. Great experience. Will be sure to come back again

Coffee in the am (and pm) nice beers on tap, classic Guinness! And other ales you wouldn't normally find. Byo food!

This place is awesome has a rustic feel too if I was a wine drinker this would be the place to have a glass of wine and read a book and listen to some local artists they serve an assortment of mochas grapes and different coffees.. this is just a great place to hang out with friends and family

Another little gem in the middle of nowhere. It's like piece of Austin and the owner has taken great care to make it quite inviting. The place has coffee, beer, and wine plus a great selection of books.

As another patron of this establishment recently said to me - "Argos is very much an oasis in a land of dryness." Here you can drop by for decent coffee in the mornings or for a draft craft brew at the counter in the evenings after work. Everyone who works here has always been beyond pleasant and I've never once been accosted by other customers or the staff for not wearing a mask (which does not stop a virus btw). Along the south wall of this reasonably old building located on the west side of the town square, you will find a long and tall bank of shelves containing many new books for sale. There are several places for you to sit down with your beverage to read or converse with family and friends. This is also a place where someone can sit solo without feeling odd about it, something you can't even do at a Jason's Deli. The long stone wall (gorgeous!) on the north side of the space is often dotted with local art, also for sale (the art, not the wall). The long narrow space with its high ceilings is a genuine artifact of Sweetwater history. I believe there is an outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs through the back door, but the recent Feb 2021 man-made HAARP icy apocalyptic arctic ridiculousness prevented me from getting a good view of that. Anyone with a brain living in or near Sweetwater knows this place without a doubt. For anyone visiting Sweetwater, Argos is an absolute must. Support local businesses, stop wearing masks. Research hypoxia and Agenda 21.

Best latte I've had in a long time. Excellent staff who know how to make a latte right. Place has a nice cozy atmosphere and books. Definitely will be back.

Hannah makes the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The place is clean and calming. Maybe I will see you there Friday morning. 😊

Wonderful place, lots of gorgeous character, peaceful and chill atmosphere. Public restrooms, so many books and wine to choose from. Definitely recommend it.
