Pretty cool spot without pretention. Decent coffee and a few prepackaged snacks, but the beer options and some points. Inside space is nicely appointed and rarely crowded. Same for the patio, which is spacious if lacking in views. Usually a few people typing away on laptops and a decent spot to work, though I did have problems with the wifi a few times. My only complaint is that the chairs, made of steel and 2x4s are a bit of form before function and look cool but are ridiculously heavy and awkward. It's actually difficult to simply pull a chair out.

A lot to love about this place. The staff is so welcoming and nice; they always greet you with a smile. The atmosphere in the space is exactly what we've all come to expect from a coffee shop. There's plenty of seating options, functioning Wi-Fi, and comfy chairs. And the coffee! I've had the pour over and the drip and both were satisfying. Each time I've been they have new options which is a great way to explore your pallette. I haven't enjoyed a beer here yet, but their selection of taps is vast.
It's a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book, work, or just enjoy company.

I am totally in LOVE with place! Comfortable, down to earth, and great coffee. Want some locally roasted coffee, look no further! Stouthaus serves Cuvee Coffee, local roasted, smooth, hits the spot. Green tea is super yummy. Now if you aren't into coffee then come by for a happy hour drink. Stouthaus serves some amazing wines and cool beers. Love cheese?? Order an awesome cheese plate to go with that wine or beer.

Cool space with a clean look. The location is a bit out of the way, but accessible via highway. The coffee is good if not a bit acidic. The staff is pleasant and professional. Not sure I’d come back due to distance (other coffee shops are closer) but if I’m in the area I’d visit again.

Solid coffee house.
Darker roasted espresso with notes of licorice and tobacco along with dark chocolate.
Nice to be served it in real cup as well. 6 sips of gold.
La Marozocco espresso machine kicking put perfection, shot after shot.
My espresso had a nice later of crema and a good balance of aromatics.
I personally dont love the darker style of espresso but almost every spot I tried in Austin had a similar style. Not a bad thing, just not my palate.
The house was crowded with busy people on their digital devices, a fun spot to plugin in and unplug from the days dramas. A comfortable spot to meet friends or cruise solo.
I sat out front with a friend and had a muffin with my espresso.
Masks required but only while ordering.

Stopped in to kill some time; never had been to Stouthaus before. It was welcoming but definitely crowded. In ordered a chai, it was tasty. There was one seat left when I got my drink. So that’s a good sign people enjoy the place. I’d return.

This was a great place to get coffee. They are open unusually late so it’s always open for a midday snack. It’s a little bit out of the way off of the 290 frontage road, but it is definitely worth it. I definitely recommend!

Amazing coffee and even better service. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is a bonus. I got the iced coconut caramel cold brew!

Alright, I'm going to be honest, I came in here thinking that it was St. Philips which is right next door. To be fair, both places are styled pretty similar and the layout of the entrances to the parking lot is a bit abnormal. Once I got my bearings straightened out, I was able to enjoy this great coffee house/pub. I can't honestly say I've ever been to a place where they emphasized both so it was nice to have the option. Looks to be a great place to chill and have a conversation with some friends over a pint or cup of joe. There's no thrills or gimmicks here, just you, your company, and your drink of choice.

Best coffee in Austin. When looking at the menu the top left item is always something special and limited. It's alway good! They also take food allergies seriously
