First time visiting and the person behind the register was really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered three drinks and half of mine was ice compared to my friend's drink. I usually would not have minded but the drink was 7 dollars, and I felt jipped. The drink itself was mediocre as well. In addition, we also ordered a hot beverage, but it kept spilling on the table, due to the wobbly table. I would think if charging 7 dollars for a drink, maybe the tables shouldn't wobble? The best thing we got that night were the bee bites, so I would recommend that item. Another thing they can improve on is if someone orders a hot drink and it is served in an actual cup, the employee should bring it to the table. We saw multiple customers walking slowly back to their table trying not to spill their hot drink. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

Excellent and beautiful place for coffee. I tried the expresso from their own brand of coffee and a baklava

Authentic Arabic coffee. Owner Adeel is very hospitable. He brought dates for us with saudi coffee Great ambience!
Again today Adeel was super nice . He gave us Saudi coffee in the pot on our request . Very nice customer service

Tried karak chai and konafa very fresh and delicious. The place is very well decorated and has ample seating. Adeel was very helpful and explained the menu for us as first timers. Definitely recommend this place.

I'm a huge fan of going to coffee places and absolutely love visiting new cafes that open up.
I was expecting Haraz to not be on par with other cafes since it just opened, but y'all, it is absolutely beautiful inside! The whole Cafe is just designed so nicely, and it's open late! So you can come in and do some late night studying until 11 PM or 12 AM (depends on the day).
I ordered a Saffron Latte, and it was absolutely immaculate. The coffee was fresh and delicious (and ORGANIC)! I cannot wait to try more of the menu!
I will say that the prices feel a bit more expensive than other places, but I have a feeling that it's because their coffee beans are probably more expensive (organic Yemeni coffee!) so they have to upcharge the consumer. They also use more expensive ingredients (saffron isn't cheap!!) so that will explain the high prices as well.
And one piece of feedback, they didn't announce the orders as they were completed, so I didn't know my coffee was done and I waited an additional few minutes. Just make sure that you wait near the back side of Haraz where they put down the drinks. That way, you know when your drink is complete and it doesn't sit there waiting for you. (:
Well done, Haraz! Can't wait to come back!

Wow, am just just shocked and amazed by the way we were treated especially when you think of supporting a new business and end up with such bad customer service, they definately either need to hire better staff or get them a crash course for better customer treatment or else no matter how good of an ambiance you have, no business could ever survive with such sub parr customer service.
Plus when you have such limited original products to offer and 90% of the pastries are costco product and being sold on a ridicously high price.
I understand every business piggy backs from bigger wholesalers but atleast have the audacity to treat your customers right. And when complained to the management, the owner Adeel Khan was all over with his explanation that we are overwhelmed and short on cups and this and that but please accept a free tea from us but what good is the free tea when you have spolied the whole experience. Atleast his wife apologized though.
And I see they have other reviews of not serving pots and rather to go cups, we know its easier to throw rather than clean but be consistent with that to all customers rather than decide who to serve in to go cups and who not to.
Definately not coming back and taking my heard earned dollar else where, thought after weeks of opening their service would get better but guess some people just like to not care about returning customers wish them luck to survive with this type of horrible horrible customer service.
The only positive highlight was the adeni chai and honeycomb tasted good but would recommend for to go cause dining in will just ruin once experience, since that was served in to go boxes aswell unlike other customers in plates guess somesort of favoritism going on in this establishment.

We were really excited to try this new place! But when we ordered Turkish coffee, the man said everything was being served in to go cups, we still agreed to order the Turkish coffee.
Shortly after we saw people who ordered before and after us receive Turkish coffee in traditional copper pots.
The 2nd drink we ordered was completely wrong.
And the kanafa they serve is filled with cream, not cheese. (Just fyi)
Happy to support a new local business, will give them time and try again but this initial visit (day 3 of them being officially open) still felt like a soft opening.

Great coffee! Traditional and American coffee. Sweets are good too here.

I’ve been to Yemen and I have to say Haraz Cafe is one of the best Yemeni cafes that hits home when it comes to original Yemeni coffee blends. I also love their Bee Bites and especially their Meleki coffee. Their Pistachio latte is insanely delicious! Get it hot!!
