Coco Crepes & Coffee

My wife and I had a great moment on the Saturday morning at Coco. Ms Rabi K was very welcoming and wonderful

Decent savory crepes (Moroccan and chicken&avocado) and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet "coco crepe"

I am not someone who writes a review often but I had to share this experience ..Being on keto is difficult especially when there aren’t many options to choose from when eating out .. I was at Coco on university and spoke to the manager about my diet restrictions and she(Ruby)whipped up this excellent drool-worthy and delicious waffle .. the Tuscan Chaffle ....a 100% keto meal and by far the best I have had ... I will be going back for sure and lots of respect to them for actually taking interest and custom making my order ... Kudos to them 🙌

I came to this place with higher expectations but when my food got to my table it was cold and way too heavy with nutella and salmon. It was difficult to enjoy the meal and it gave me a subtle stomach ache after.

Great food, amazing service. Super ambiance. Definitely try it. 10/10 on everything.

I’ve been here many times with family, friends, young and old and it’s always predictable and pretty awesome.

So why am I leaving a review this time?
I wasn’t feeling really great about myself so I decided to come work from here today. I was greeted with a smile and felt more seen than I have in days! Not sure how but this lady (seemed like the boss but not the owner) took ownership of our interaction and helped me figure out what I wanted.. super sweet but not why I’m posting right now.

That came next, when I sat down and realized they were playing ‘Easy On Me’ by Adele. Amazing song when you’re in the mood, and guess what?! I was! But that wasn’t it, they were playing her full album. Some ppl might think it was weird to play that on Wednesday morning but not I. I felt like someone read the room and DJ’d for me! Haha

For those who are like, “but how’s the food, and ambiance? Surely you’re not giving Coco credit for Adele’s awesome album.” I say, the savory crepes are on point, ask for sauce if you don’t have euro-centric palate. Coffee is better than most coffee places, but I maybe biased cuz these guys always serve it with a smile (not very objective, I know lol). Their team chemistry seems solid, tight knit and inclusive - I assess these things for living so I’m sure they didn’t get here overnight or without making hard choices. Hope that helps :)

Anyway, I’d come here again and bring someone with me.

Smoked salmon crepe wasn’t the greatest but the pumpkin spice layer was really good. Cindy was nice and the place seemed nice as well. Sad that I couldn’t finish my crepe

I really liked this place! Service was gast and friendly. They had whole wheat options on the crepes so that was a plus for me. The chicken/spinach with mushroom sauce is a savory and delicious crepe. Also, got the tres leches crepe which is a perfect dessert option. Can't wait to try some of the other crepe options. The iced white latte was pleaseant and not too sweet. The whole area is has a peaceful welcoming vibe.

Employee who took our order was very friendly and offered us a menu to look at and also let us know about the free water. Our order came out pretty quick and was very delicious. I got the s’more crepe and it was perfect.

I had the waffle with strawberries, lemon curd, and raspberry compote. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was so good I didn't even have to add syrup. My sister got the lemon blueberry crepe. The crepe was alright... the lemon curd cream/syrup was overwhelming, it had fresh blueberries sprinkled on top, but we didn't even taste the blueberries, so we werent impressed. 8/10 overall
