Yummies Bistro

El yummy indeed. It's just on the other side of bridge on the sandbar. Usually packed and a long wait normally is the standard. Now the off season is upon us, the wait is limited! Atleast till the Winter Texans arrive! The food is fantastic, the staff are SPI friendly.. This restaurant has been here many years. Consistent isn't a easy thing to do. Yummies does it with ease. Plotted. Scouts Out.

Not quite satisfied 😕. The staff seemed lazy and like they didn't want to work. They do have a very selective menu to choose from. We ordered out drinks and placed our order of shrimp tacos and chicken quesadilla. Their water tasted like cleaning products and the food was Meh... great presentation but the lack of flavor and the amount of grease killed it. We asked for napkins they brought them till we were done with our meals. All in all no bueno 2 thumbs down 👎.

Yummies was the perfect place for the last breakfast of vacation. I had to go with the biscuits and gravy with a galaxy latte and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing and the waitress made me feel like I was at home!

The vibe of Yummies feels so intimate and inviting - now added to my long standing list of places to revisit on my next trip to Padre!

Everything was delicious, and the portions were large, especially the pancakes, I’ve never seen them that big. Parking is limited, so plan ahead, or walk over if you can. Lots to choose from, and there’s a separate coffee menu which was also delicious.

This is seriously the best place to eat on the entire island! I come to South Padre every year and one of the only things I don’t like about the island itself is that there is only fast food or greasy unhealthy options where any fast food cook can get a job. Yummy’s food is prepared by cooks that care about the food they’re making and they have many unique options beyond the same old burger and fried chicken strips. Also the service is top tier. This is a “must go” from now on. Go check it out!!

Now I get the hype. This place was solid. Probably the best breakfast we had while we were here. I just told our server to serve me whatever would keep me coming back. He had his One mission and he was absolutely successful! My daughter got hot chocolate and that is what has made her a lifelong fan! Tip: get there right when they open because by 30 minutes from opening they are already on a wait list.

On long weekends went in on a Saturday m, although there was a crowd service was fast and friendly. The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the meals and drinks. Everything was visually pleasing and tasted just as good!

This was our first time at Yummies Bistro. We were very pleased with the service, and the food was delicious! The chilaquiles plate was the best that I've ever had, and my husband enjoyed his Chorizo Taco plate as well! Mimosas were very tasty! We will be returning soon! 😁

We ate outside as it was busy, and the wait for the food was about 20 minutes but the food was worth the wait. This is the breakfast quesadilla and it’s amazing. All of my family was very happy with what they ordered, and the sauce on the Shrimp Scampi texas style is to die for !! Would definitely come back to eat here again, the presentation is amazing and the shops next door are also very high quality.

Wow!!! The breakfast was phenomensl!! One of the best breakfast places that I've been to. Had the SPI breakfast and my boy had the ALL AMERICAN BREAKFAST! And omg.... And definitely THE BEST COFFEE ON THE ISLAND!
