Yummies Bistro

OMG!!! This place was fantastic. Expect a wait, as it is always packed, but it's worth it. We tried this our 1st morning on the island from a recommendation of a shop owner, and it was Not a disappointment. Once seated, the service was great and the food was awesome. Expect large servings. Chicken and waffles and Dolce De Leche Latte ( you can even get it cold 🤤)......a must try. 💗

Great breakfast place! Chocolate chip waffle & chocolate chip 🥞 with sausage patty was delicious. Mocha frappe'- excellent. They have an amazing pie case! The chocolate pecan pie is absolutely wonderful. Also took home a chicken salad sandwich for lunch. If you have a sweet tooth, like me- this is definitely the place to visit! However, the four stars I gave them was based on the food. As far as service, I think it could have been better. I visited Yummies twice within a week because the menu and meals were outstanding but the service could have been much faster and more attentive. Will still continue to eat there.

I came for grits but I think the milk was spoiled ? Everything else was great.

Yummies Bistro is as the name suggests; Yummy 😋! Breakfast and Lunch are the only thing that they serve but you could eat here twice in one day if you start early. Bottom line is that Yummies Bistro is a local favorite that anyone who comes to South Padre should try at least once. But you will be back. 🤙🏼

Everytime I visit SPI, I have to visit Yummies for either breakfast or brunch!!! This is a MUST
while here. This place will get packed fast so do yourself a favor and get here early to put your name down. Yummies has the best specialty coffees and the most delicious dishes! My fave is Ernie's Bacon Waffle!!! It's a bacon filled waffle with 2 eggs however way you'd like on top. Also try their Spanish Macchiato it's DELICIOUS!!!! 😍

Yummies far surpasses expectations for breakfast dining options on the island! I’m infatuated with the glittery mimosas (any flavor) and am in love with the lobster Benedict! Oh! And I can’t forget the warm cinnamon rolls! A bit of deliciousness heaven! If I had one suggestion it would be to have the cinnamon rolls available for purchase all day, everyday. You sometimes run out and that’s a sad state of affairs ❤️

I consider breakfast the best meal of the day and Yummies did not disappoint us. The egg quesadilla was really good and so was my wife's eggs benedict. Also loved the warm muffins and fancy latte artwork!

Best coffee on the island!! Burrito is 10/10 and so are the waffles. I want to try every coffee on the menu. Our food was SO good. Great service too.
