I was initially excited about visiting this restaurant after reading so many good reviews but it was a total disaster! We arrived close to 12:45 p.m. and it was pretty busy but we drove in from Houston & definitely wanted to give it a try! We ordered the "industry burger" with fries.. simple enough, right? Forty-eight minutes later & still no food! I proceed to the register to inquire about our order and cashier tells me that my burger was ready but not the fries? I stated it shouldn't take an hour for 2 burgers. Manager stated she would comp my order but after realizing that we paid cash she offered a gift card & still keep the food. I agreed because she clearly seemed overwhelmed with the volume of business today. Another 5 minutes the food came out & omgggggg! The fries were ice cold & the burger was bloody!! I almost vomited 🤢 At that point I wanted a cash refund & never will return..

Great brunch menu.We had the chilaquiles and the brisket fried egg samo, both simply delightful! Also tried the Tatas brava, very tasty. Mimosas are only $2.50 on Sundays!

Pretty good. I had the Porky’s Pancakes! Very sweet and savory with good contrasting flavors. There was live music and the weather was nice so the atmosphere was solid. The food wasn’t too hot but it was still very good overall.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and tasty food. We stopped for a light lunch and the ping pong table was a great distraction while waiting for food.

Layout of the restaurant is open and airy which was nice on a rainy summer day. Service itself was not great while seated at the bar. We got snarky and impatient answers when we asked questions about the menu or when trying to order drinks. Food was well presented and tasty for the most part but some of the sides were over-spiced (black beans and the elote dish) or very undercooked (rice). However, our drinks were on spot! May come back for the drinks and atmosphere but not sure about the food.

The staff is great, the concept is awesome and we really enjoyed our passion fruit mimosa.

The food left somethings to be desired. Not everything came out hot or fresh and some things were just kinda okay. I wouldn’t recommend the place for the brunch food based on our experience but we will be coming back to try the regular menu because the staff and bar were excellent. Dope vibes around the place as well.

Nice spot with an eclectic menu. I had the blueberry bacon pancakes, and they were amazing. Dog friendly, outdoor seating available. Good burgers and tacos as well. When we went on a Friday they were slammed, the wait staff was a little flustered, took a while to get our food and drinks. But the food was worth the wait. Absolutely recommend trying.

Industry creates fantastic examples of how you can elevate standard bar food. The queso adds green chilie. The perfectly seared burgers are on potato bread. The sauces are unique. The worst thing about Industry may be the construction that makes parking a hassle, but that's not around forever! I really couldn't recommend them more.

If you are looking for a dog friendly place in San Marcos, this is the spot. Great food, great environment, fun games while you wait and friendly staff. (Please get the queso you won’t regret it.) This is a must stop place.
