Philo Coffee

SO cute! The space is small and very intimate, which some will love and others not so much... Coffee was delicious and although I didn't have one, their pastries and baked goods looked delicious too! Very cute patio space that will be amazing in the warmer season. Friendly staff and delicious coffee. Great job, guys!

Solid coffee. Calm and relaxed environment. Clean shop. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a friendly employee and sometimes you don't. Overall a worthy experience in my opinion.

Okay, I'm a fan. Coffee shops should have good, black coffee. Some spots in this city just don't, they burn their beans or their coffee is weak. This place has good, strong coffee that isn't bitter.

Pros:
Shop is clean, decor is simple and appealing.
Location is a plus, this area hasn't had a coffee shop since PRESS.
Again, good coffee.
No problems parking.
Staff was super friendly.

Con:
Only suggestion I could think of is considering adding a table inside for like a group of people or a study group kind of spot. I personally like the bars but could see some students from the nearby unis using a study group space.

Really good people work here. Consistently good coffee & a decent assortment of things to eat also. Also a fine place for a beer or glass of wine in the afternoon.

Everything in here is good, from the coffee to the sandwiches - but the coffee is REALLY good. Many independent coffee shops have the goods but this stuff is stellar!

The lox bagel with whipped cream cheese, capers, and fresh dill is truly one of the best foods I have ever had. Also they are very friendly. GO!

Excellent service, delicious pastries/food (croissant sandwich, savory danish and strudel where fenomenal!) refreshing coffee/tea, great variety of wines, beer, mimosas and welcoming atmosphere! Our favorite coffee shop in central SA, coming back!

Cool little gem near SAC with great coffee and atmosphere!

Waited over an hour for 2 croissants. They were burned. Got 2 coffee’s which were good, and a muffin. Spent about 40$ and will never come back.

Lox bagel and sweet cream pumpkin iced coffee were DELICIOUS! I will definitely be coming back. The service was wonderful as well. Definitely give this place a try.
