This is the most wonderful coffee shop! The employees are always so kind and welcoming. They help me out if I have any questions and they make wonderful recommendations. And they roast their own coffee beans right on site! Love this place!

The barista was an absolute delight and the owner seems eager to share his passion for coffee with others. My boyfriend and I enjoyed how cozy the cafe was, and we were surprised the find that they also happen to sell some of the best tacos that we’ve eaten. Do yourself a favor and give their bean and cheese tacos a go! On top of all of that, I haven’t had as smooth of a cappuccino since living in Japan. They know how to treat customers here and they know how the make the perfect cup of joe! The prices are great and I promise that you won’t regret it!

This coffee shop has smooth buttery coffee and they offer pastries and breakfast tacos which are made from scratch and mouthwatering. The service is top notch.

(Edit: Decided to lower the stars on this review because back when I wrote it, I didn't want to give anyone a low rating. I was thinking of the worst espresso I've had in San Antonio and this place is unfortunately isn't great.) I got a hazelnut latte and it was okay. The espresso wasn't as smooth or chocolatey as l prefer, but l always appreciate trying different espresso. The place was messy - probably because l walked in a little after opening - and the place seems cramped in-person instead of how cozy it appeared to be in photos.

Friendly and welcoming experience. All the seasonal coffee drink flavors sounded amazing and the latte I ordered was perfectly made. The coffee beans are roasted in-house and taste like it. I'm so glad I found a local coffee shop close to my job, I will definitely be making this my new morning coffee stop.

This coffee shop is absolutely so amazing the atmosphere is inviting and cozy and the employees are so sweet and friendly! I have been coming here since they opened in 2005 and I will continue to be a loyal customer💕

I made my husband go out of the way to go buy beans at this place based on their voicemail and website. They certainly don’t take themselves too seriously and it works. I loved the coffee and the beans. The employees were also very sweet and welcoming.

Coffee had a good flavor. Few seating inside and out. Very friendly staff. Cold and hot coffee options. They had very good morning tacos. We wish they had a few more baked goods such as muffins. Very clean. Will go again.

Stopped by this business which is in a strip shopping center about 1 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Parking could be a problem if it was busy. Inside was rather small with two people tables aligning one wall. About 10 people were inside. It's small but rather cozy. They roast their own coffee beans. I ordered a large 16 oz decaf Americano. It was served in a 'real' cup and saucer for $2.95 plus tax. It was weak with no taste. After talking to the barista I was informed that they serve the regular and the large cup of coffee with the same amount of espresso thus the weakness and rather blah taste on the larger cup. Supposedly, the larger cup would accommodate more cream if the customer wanted it according to the barista. And the flavor taste of the larger cup? Duh??? The barista added more expresso after hearing of my displeasure. I was also surprised to learn that this business has been here for 15 years. Nothing to brag on at this place. There's other places for a better cup of java.

My morning #latte stop this a.m. I love Mildfire Roasters. Whenever I’m in the area I will go the extra mile to support this local business. I had the #HotButteredLatte this morning. It did not disappoint. Give it a try, as business was brisk this morning, clearly the secret is out.
