Salted caramel is dangerous, not in a good way. Barista with dermal piercing and short black hair, was there by herself and not very friendly, pretty quiet.
I was 1 of 2 customers she had at the moment, so it wasnt like there was a huge rush, but somehow the drinks reflected that kind of effort... or lack thereof....
I rarely order sweet drinks but today felt like a treat... so I got a salted caramel latte- too bad it was too salty to drink!!!
Obviously no one is watching over portion control or balancing flavors in that shop. They just let the barista shake the salt in the cup til they're ready to stop! Gross.... and when I asked for more caramel to balance how salty it was, she met me with literally 1oz of syrup "should be enough!"
Didn't even ask me if it was better or how I liked my drink or anything.... I would never dismiss a customer like that, I take pride in making sure my guests enjoy their drinks. This was so disappointing... I left and went across the street to Press.

Will not be returning for a while...

The only good thing is the vegan baked goods but all credits go to the bakery.

Close to the Witte Museum before I go to Cocktails and Culture. Quiet place and not packed. Coffee is good not great. Service is good not great. If you want to avoid the noise and be close to the Witte come check it out

Quaint but great cold coffee The Vanilla Earl Brew is my favorite.

I don't know what happened to this place. This use to be our go to spot. All the good baristas left and it hasn't been the same. Came back after about a 6 month hiatus and now it isn't just the atmosphere that has changed even the coffee isn't what it use to be. I will say the vegan pastries are still delicious though.

I came here on a Sunday evening and the regular brew coffee was not only hot, it was fresh! Only thing is …. I’m not sure why coffee shops like this one and others in San Antonio don’t leave the creamer and honey out for self serve. How long before they catch up with the rest of the world? I know it saves money BUT Management has baristas being tight with pouring enough.
Thank you!

I had a honey lavender latte and it was amazing!!! The barista was also very affable. The only thing that was rough was the price. It cost me $6.50 for my latte. I’d recommend stopping in.

Nice local coffee shop. Try there refreshers, really good and the fruit and vegetables taste fresh.

Very warm and inviting! Great place to study-- I highly recommend the pumpkin chai :)

This place has quality juices and coffee. I only knocked off a star because some of the times I have visited they are out of certain produce or ingredients, so they can't make my order. Staff is adaptable so they offer substitutes, but this typically doesn't happen at other coffee places I visit.
