Wonderful coffee spot! Homely feeling, delicious coffee, and great food. The decor brings me to my childhood and makes for a nice relaxing atmosphere to drink my cup of Java. We came on a very rainy morning, but the covered outdoor seating looked very inviting for when the weather is right. Definitely a new cozy spot for when the kids are at grandma's and you just need the morning to yourself.

Excellent coffee, food and atmosphere. A true gem of the west side. Will definitely be back.

Just stumbled upon this coffee shop, it’s so cute and the owner is so sweet and funny. I haven’t even tried the food yet but i’m sure it’s gonna be delicious. Cant wait to return.

I drove 30 minutes to come try Barrios Cafe and their website said they were open until 1 o’clock pm, but they were closed.

I’ve been wanting to check this place out and I’m glad I finally did. The horchata latte is great! I ordered the brisket grilled cheese with avocado and it was so good I totally forgot to take a picture. If you enjoy great coffee, food and service, make sure to check them out!!!

Super cute and spacious interior. Warm lighting and welcoming workers. We came here after an especially bad day (car got towed) and this place turned our day around. The coffee is delicious and we ordered a breakfast croissant that was perhaps the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. This place is definitely worth the visit.

I have been three times and have always loved the food. I have ordered something different each time and they never disappoint. The cook definitely knows what they're doing. The portion size is nice, you leave feeling full, not stuffed which is what I would expect out of a foodie-type place. It is well decorated but too cold for myself and my wife, thermostat is set at 69 degrees. The staff are all great and treat you well. My only recommendation is to get some nicer silverware, the forks and spoons feel cheap. Overall highly recommended. They need to raise their prices...I would still go.

We had the regular coffee, which was flavorful. I ordered the breakfast croissant which was average and had to add avocado slices to bring up the flavor. My wife had the egg sandwich and felt it was a one note sandwich. We had the tomato basil soup which wasn't a big deal,we added some of their hot sauce to give it flavor. All and all it was an OK visit. The ambiance was pleasant & I wish them well with their business.

If you’re looking to get the feel of true San Antonio cultura in a coffee shop, including getting treated with much hospitality, this is your spot.
By the way, Latte is excellent and you cannot leave without trying there one of a kind, “barbacoa grilled cheese sandwich” (aka the Westside special).
