Barrio Barista

This place absolutely deserves 5 stars! I had the veggies tacos and the roasted veggies in the tacos were magnificent. I could tell the veggies were fresh and the jalapeno avocado cream sauce was good but spicy so I only put a little on my tacos but it definitely a good taste to the veggies. My husband had the westside special and when I tell you he ate all of it. He ate all of it and he doesn't even like avocado but it was so disguised in the sandwich with the barbacoa and he loved the tomato soup as well. We will be returning to this place again in the near future.

Very nice atmosphere inside. Well kept and clean. Has a real coffee shop feel to it as soon as you walk in. Service was fast and friendly. Order was prepared as requested. Barbacoa tacos were delicious. Avocado was fresh and ripe. Hot sauce was amazing. Fresh as well. Horchata latte was made to perfection. Very few places you go to has the owner working behind the counter. Nice to see his pride and hard working ethic reflect on his business.

This is our favorite coffee shop. We always enjoy visiting Bario Barista. My favorite is the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese and also like the breakfast croissant, both delicious. My wife's favorite is the veggie taco plate. Stop by and check them out!

A warm and welcoming place. The owner, Gilbert, offered my kids juice and crackers. He told them a few funny jokes and served us the barbacoa grilled cheese we ordered. Me and the wife ordered horchata iced latte and abuelita coffee as well from the barista, and it was all amazing and very tasty. I definitely recommend this place to all the locals and out of towners while in San Antonio.

The Westside special is to die for! Coffee is amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Gilbert made us feel right at home and had great conversation. I'd recommend sitting at the bar if you are in for a conversation and a treat.

Just moved to the area and was looking for coffee around 1pm. Saw a bunch of people outside of Barrio Barista so my bf & I decided to give it a try. We ordered the favorite horchata latte and matcha latte. Alternative milks were only 50 cents (being a New Yorker iykyk lol) — 10/10 the ambiance was great and owner himself was cheffing up our drinks. Will definitely be here again!

Absolutely delicious every single time! Food is always flavorful and consistant. Drinks are delicious and I love that they offer alternative dairy free milk options. They had a carrot ginger coldpress juice available on one of my visits and it is absolutely delicious! Pictured- Sweet Potato Hash and an Americano with almond milk

I'm so glad I finally got to try this coffee shop! We sat in a cute spot with comfy, oversized chairs. They also have booths with a personal mounted TV. The whole place felt like I was in the comfort of a friend's living room. The service is friendly and the Dirty Chai I ordered was fantastic!

I can't wait to try their breakfast on my next visit!

Who needs Starbucks When you have have "Barrio Barista" 😎☕️ Excited for them to re-open! Good vibes every time I drop in, Gilbert & his jefito (Owners) are the best! Really like 4 1/2 🌟. 1st time there enjoyed the decor , outside patio the latin jazz playing through the speakers . drinks were great .esp the Horchata Latte and the Breakfast Crossant. It was hot .ham and cheese and the egg perfect. Most of all it is located in a latino community with latino art and knick knacks
