Their coffee is so good! It's about the price of Starbucks but it tastes so much better to me. I also love that they are open in the evenings, I find it frustrating when other places are already closed by the time I get off work. Drinks are always smooth and don't taste either bitter or overly sugary like other places...it's just right!

The owners are AMAZING. They constantly update their menu with seasonal items and specials so you're always on your toes.
I'm sad that you aren't allowed in because of COVID and I respect that decision. But when they were open for dine-in, you could expect a bunch of events! Art shows, small live music, poetry readings, anything you could think of.
When you catch one of the owners there you can see that they treat their employees like family, coaching and teaching the employees how things work with making drinks and why.
There is never a "no" when it comes to special ordering, either. Anything on the menu can be changed or modified, to suite your needs.
If there was any coffee shop that deserves recognition, it is The Avenue Coffee & Cafe. The one place that I personally feel at home at, away from home.

Always great food and drinks. They have some off the wall food items you'd never think to put together that taste amazing! Service is always good and always nice

Good coffee, super friendly staff, they had oat milk so happy wife 😉, the pastries (we had more than a few) were great as was the breakfast sandwich. We'd come back for sure.

Taste good. Service bad.
Definitely the better tasting coffee shop around this area as far as the food/drinks they make, but don’t expect a warm welcome or friendly small talk while you wait for your stuff. Forget getting helpful information if you call an order in, better know exactly what you want and how you want it. Fairly priced, but it’s hard to get over how short and impatient the employees are.

Very friendly, even when they are busy. Love that they have so many options. Also love that they already remember me after just a few visits.....makes it feel like that small town / home town feel. Also very much appreciate that they put napkins in the to go bag....very useful. Only wish they opened a little earlier.

Great coffee, menu (always something new and different) and atmosphere!

In my top 5 favorite coffee shops list. Number 1 in SETX for sure. Great friendly service. Quality drinks.

Great top of the line coffee, pastries and innovative great sandwiches, served without the typical snobiness of typical coffee cafes. The best coffee I've ever had. State of the art single cup Brewer. You have to try it!

I live this little shop. I haven't tried their coffees but their lunch time sandwiches and sweets. A great selection, several bread choices, and prices are reasonable. A great, quiet place for a quick lunch get-away.
