PJ's Coffee

My best coffee chain find ever! Hands down so much better than the burnt coffee that Starbucks offers. I've been a returning customer to PJs and every month they surprise me with seasonal flavors. There's actually some thought going behind the flavor combinations making every seasonal drink special. Their velvet ice range is also so delicious! They also make sure they don't load up your drink with sugar which is a huge plus!

I really hope they open new shops inside the loop so I don't have to travel so far for a cuppa.

PJ'S coffee is a great coffee brand. The staff at the Pearland, TX, location have been courteous and helpful each time we visited. They are happy to share info and ideas for your drink choice and will even allow you to sample the coffees they have brewed for the day.

Their coffees are smooth and rich. We first discovered this brand while traveling and staying at a Royal Sonesta hotel.

We have liked the Royal Sonesta blend, the Maple Street blend, the Carnival blend and the Anniversary blend. Please note that the Maple Street blend is not maple flavored. It is simply named after a street in New Orleans.

I recently tried the Jingle Bells holiday blend and found it had a nice warm flavor that could easily set a holiday mood if brewed at a gathering

We have purchased several bags of beans to brew at home, since there is not a closer location for us to frequent.

Went there for breakfast this Morning on the way to a training session. The service was fast, the staff was friendly, and one of the owners even greeted me. I ordered one of their medium balanced coffees black. It was really nice, much better than Starbucks. I also had an applewood bacon cheddar biscuit sandwich. The biscuit tasted like it was freshly baked. I will definitely be back to not only purchase coffee to drink there, but hopefully to purchase whole beans for house. Long story short: this is a much better option than Starbucks. Thanks for a great customer experience.

Love this place. The blended drinks actually taste like coffee rather than a sugary concoction. Prices are about the same as similar places, you can get discounts if you sign up for their texts. Service was excellent. I love that it's a more quiet atmosphere that's great for studying.

Update/ Ammendment: Came through the drive-thru on 8/21/21 at about 7pm. The lady in the drive-thru (young brunette) asked me if I'd like to leave a tip on my card- I was taken aback, as I find it very presumptuous to ask a customer this question. I told her 'no'. She then brings my drink to me acting really weird, as if she wanted me to think that she had done something to the drink. She even, for the 1st time during our encounter, had her mask pulled down. I had a couple of dollars in cash, but after she acted like that, I kept it. I've never experienced anything like this. IF I ever come back, I'll take exact cash and go inside. This was very disheartening- just put a tip jar out like everyone else. Original 5-star post below:

Oh, my! I almost don't want to review this spot because if too many people find out about it, it may start getting as packed as other popular coffee joints. Starbucks would lose loyal customers by the droves... Came by to grab something cold and frosty, but didn't feel like dealing with the Starbucks crowd. I was pleasantly greeted, given a lowdown of the menu, and served an amazing caramel velvet coffee drink. The flavor is uniquely cajun, and very addictive. I'm a fan, and can't wait to try the southern wedding cake flavor!

They had indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor was very nice with WiFi. We went there to finish my son's work with a College Financial Councilor. The coffee was good but the beignets (set of 3) were an excellent price and the coffee was really good to!! They all wore masks and they came out every now and then to clean off the tables and chairs. I highly recommend them!!

Ooommmmgggg! I’m hooked! Today was my first time there and I had no clue what to get. After talking to one of the amazing baristas about what I like and don’t like she suggested I try the seasonal drink Southern Wedding Cake! Best decision ever! My only regret is I got a small. Great atmosphere and great customer service. I have already told my friends about it. I will definitely be back.

PJs is a great coffee shop with exceptional service. I visit frequently and one time one of my favorite drinks, the iced mocha w/ sugar free chocolate syrup was just off. The owner remade it herself personally, and it was still off but I didn't take it back up to the counter. The owner saw that I wasn't drinking it and personally came to my table to offer to make me something different on the house. She was so incredibly kind and I was blown away by their great service! I've been a loyal customer ever since, and never had any other issues! They had opened up a new bottle of the syrup so I believe it was just the new syrup, not them personally. I've had it again since and it's back to normal. Love this place! :)

In my mind I believe I’m somewhat a connoisseur of coffee. That being said I wanted some coffee after my morning workout. I stopped by PJ’s Coffee after picking up my clothes from Green Oaks Cleaners. The place was neat, clean and relaxing. The cashier was friendly even before I said this is my first time here. She made some recommendations and was even knowledgeable about the drinks. However, I went for the dark roast that was on the board and when I took a sip I was taken back. No, I’m not over exaggerating. The coffee was fresh didn’t have that over brewed taste and smell. It’s been a while I had a refreshing coffee taste from a coffee house. Needless to say I’ll be returning as well.

Oh the price of the coffee wasn’t bad either. It’s pretty in line to other chains.

Obsessed with PJ’s coffee. I love getting the iced kings cake coffee with extra espresso. The customer service here is outstanding. Worth the 20 minute drive for my coffee fix! hoping they open more locations near Houston soon (specifically the med center!)
