PJ's Coffee

I love this place! Coffee is so good and definitely something different compared to other coffee shops! I usually love this coffee shop due to the environment and how convenient it is to do my school work, but I do have to admit that it can be a big distracting due to a specific employee singing most of the time out loud most of the shift. Other than that, coffee is great and service is good.

The ambient is housewarming and welcoming. The staff is cheerful, helpful, charming and professional - always with a smile on their faces. The product is amazing and delicious... Overall, a must visit location.

Pjs is slacking off, so early in the morning and they don’t have a lot of items in stock this happens often so upsetting. Can’t wait for Reserva to open.

Friendly and good service but not very professional. I sat in coffee shop to work, no one one else was in coffee shop but me. Employees talked about employee issues with other employees/management, and "F" bomb used casually. Was distracting.

Slow, aloof, less than helpful staff. Over priced poorly made coffee that was equal parts burnt, acidic, and harsh. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait and I got notes of grass, rancid oil, and lemon (these are all unwanted). The astingency was so high it was undrinkable, and I tossed it into the bin.

Why does coffee have to be so pretentioius...it's just coffee...it's not difficult to make, and make incredibly well.

If you're someone that drinks coffee for flavor (not just the caffeine jolt), do yourself, your palate, and your bank account a favor and get coffee somewhere else.

There are, far better coffee options in McAllen, and all over the RGV for that matter.

I read another review where it was mentioned that you are asked for a tip "before" your drink is made. Can confirm. Happened to me. And they are absolutely shameless about it too. Wow.

A great coffee shop with delicious drinks. They have high quality coffee and the espresso is excellent. The indoor area is comfortable and the friendly staff only makes you want to hang out longer than you need to! Super clean!

Waited 12 minutes from order till time somebody came to the window, only to find that the medium protein ice drink with an extra shot was nearly $10 when I usually pay $6 something... still had my cup from yesterday. Drive thru attendant was kind, but couldn't figure out the difference. I have no I trest to pay $10 for a medium drink. Will not be returning.

I always receive great and friendly service. The environment is great for studying in comparison to other coffee shops. My favorite drink is the king cake. Normally visit this place weekly.
