Pitt Grill Restaurant

Ultra disgusting. Did not eat here. Walked in. Waitress was smoking inside the small dining room. One side is non smoking however still filled with smoke. Kitchen area looks like it has not been cleaned in several years. Grease everywhere. Tables and seats that I saw were dirty. Eating here could kill you!!! The posiive reviews for this dump must be from employees or drug addicts.

My friend Jack and I stopped in from Mt. Pleasant and the food and service were very good. I ordered the Master Burger Platter and my friend Jack had the Chicken Fried Steak dinner. Both were very good. Waitress and cook were both very nice. Stormy our waitress was very attentive and professional. These mom and pop diners are hard to find these days. Dennnys Cracker Barrel and IHOP are taking over the restaurant industry fast. Overall a very pleasant experience. If you want some good old fashioned homestyle cooking come to on down to New Boston Texas and stop by the Pitt Grill!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

old building. i'm guessing that the A/C was broken because it was very hot inside. was expecting different kind of food then was provided. mostly ham , steak and chicken fried steak. food and service was good and food was well priced. both my husband and i had chicken fried steak with a salad. would go back.

If you are looking for a small town breakfast with the real people, show up here. Trigger warning, they still have smoking and non smoking. This is real America.

Amazing good country food. A great backroad find. The service is quick and friendly. Bathrooms are always clean, a huge plus. Love this little find ❤

I'm not sure where other people visited. Instant mashed potatoes, small premade frozen chicken fried steak and gravy from powder. With toast and tea $12!!! How all these people can say "home style cooking ", your food at home is horrible then. And only a choice of potatoes or vegetables, for $12 it should be included. Actually should be less. It was all premade cheap and instant.

Loved the food here. Waitstaff was nice. We had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and a ribeye. It was very good! Quick walk from the truck stop across the street.

I met a friend here because she really likes their coffee, but I had to leave early because I have asthma and sitting anywhere wasn't an option. The smoke from across the room was bothering me. Allowed smoking in such an enclosed area really isn't a good idea.

the only place I've ever been where smoking inside the restaurant was grandfathered in. So you can go in today and smoke inside.

Gave this place a try since it had great reviews. Unfortunately we weren’t part of that group who enjoyed their visit... waited over 45 for food, our orders were incorrect and there was no escaping the heavy cigarette smoke. We won’t be back.
