Pitt Grill Restaurant

Was in New Boston, TX 11/9/21 stop at the Pit Grill to get a bit to eat . Order a steak salad and a soda . The soda was fine but the steak salad wasn't . I found a hair in my salad brought to the waitress attention and she acted like it was no big deal . I personally don't like hair in my food . If I want to eat hair I'll eat my own.

Couldn't afford a tip and the immature woman who took my order and checked me out mocked me and then refused to give me a bag and silverware. They also have another woman who cooks with her bare hands, covid is still an issue

Only good staff, nothing else!

This has long been a favorite place of my grandchildren. We have eaten there at all hours of the day and night. The quality of food depends upon the cook, but we have always been made welcome. This is an old time diner and it looks that way, but give it a try.

Good food. Stopped in for breakfast and I could either sit in the smoking section away from a very loud juke box or sit by a very loud juke box and stay out of the smoke. People in groups were yelling at each other to be heard over the music. Did I mention that the food was good...and also the waitress was nice...but sorry I won't be back.

I like coming here because of the location and I can get my 18 wheeler in next door no problem. It is what it is = road side dinner, nothing fancy or elaborate and to me it's a plus that I can enjoy a cigarette right there after my meal without having to go outside. The staff has always been pleasant and the food has always been good too, I always look forward to coming here!

The waitresses were all extremely friendly, yes the place looks "dirty" this is what is called a dive my friends, the food was seriously good. Best burger I've had in a long, long time. Yes, there is smoking. With so few places left for smokers to sit inside and smoke, I don't see why there is need to complain. Go somewhere else out of the thousands of places that are non-smoking and quit whining.

Laid back casual cafe. If you are in a rush or expect efficiency consider another option this is a small town gathering place where conversation is King. Wait staff are kind and easily distracted. Be prepared for great food and sweet service. Be patient and relax expectations. You'll have a wonderful experience.

Horrible customer service. I tried to call in an order of pancakes,, sausage,, and eggs this morning, the person said they don't have pancakes. I asked for waffles, she said the machine was broke. Then, when I asked about biscuits she hung up without response. If you don't want to do you job, get a new one.

If you are a nonsmoker do not go to this place you will be sadly disappointed.. the motel behind the restaurant does have truck parking which is nice if the restaurant was worth stopping for. The waitresses were more interested in smoking in the back corner than tending to their customers. Dishes piled everywhere..very unclean. Will not be back.
