Rao's Bakery Coffee cafe

Terrible service. Long waits with no customers. Server was very confused and took too long to get a kolachi and an apple turn over. Then there were no knives and forks at the service counter. I mentioned to someone behind the counter and was instructed to go back to the register to request same. I mentioned there was a line and finally the server got me a knife and fork.
Not the same Rao's!

i ordered a birthday cake for my sweet 16, i ordered a 16 number shaped cake and was specific with the order and how we wanted it and the lady taking the order understood, then when we go to pick it up on my birthday it’s some cheap small round cake with non finished decorations on top, we call back and they say did it wrong and they apologize and say they did the cake wrong. now i don’t have the cake i imagined for my sweet 16.

Raos has been around a long time, and they consistently have yummy treats unlike anywhere else. It is a great place to hang out with friends, have a quick breakfast or snack, and the warm coffee mugs when you dine in are perfect.

Wonderful place to enjoy freshly baked goods and fresh coffee. Great for couples, students and small groups. Very casual. My favorite dessert is the Tres Leche with a cup of Dancing Goats coffee.

My daughter bought a chocolate cake with strawberries on top for my birthday. It was delicious as things usually are from Rao's....but it had a GREEN strawberry on top. C'mon man...don't let a 5¢ piece of fruit Jade a$40 cake.

Seems corporate, specifically speaking the coconut carribean cake was reeeally delish but the macarons were not good at all they were hard (overcooked) and not great flavor. The chocolate chip cookie sandwiches were just to much icing completely and would give anyone a belly ache but attentive service and loving the option to buy gifts and serving-ware! Just very corporatey feeling not mom and pops for sure.

Very unique atmosphere. Amazing food. Smells devine inside. Fully enjoyed everything. From the sandwiches, soup, chips and dessert. We will return.

With
Local businesses but it never fails.I had to call the Rao’s in Bmt to get my order and Mother’s Bday together.I called the store for someone to check and no record or idea of nothing.

They too offer a great atmosphere and adorable goodies! They always have something to fit each occasion! Always fresh and very welcoming! The groups of people that visit here are so pleasant and sweet!
