Rao's Bakery Coffee cafe

Went today and got a cold coffee that was absolutely phenomenal. Miss Danae made my drink and I must say it was DELICIOUS!!! I'm visiting here and heard about this place. I'll be looking forward to tasting another drink. Hopefully made by Danae.

please pay attention to what people order and stop giving them the wrong freaking items, and then sometimes give attitude when politely asked if it could be fixed. smh. get it together pls 😭

The service was good. The cookies are great. They don't label or put prices on anything so you have to ask what everything is and its price

Ok... BEST chocolate covered strawberries I've ever had... Best fruit cream tart thingy I've ever had. Devoured in the parking lot. The cake for my son's birthday was FABULOUS. The nicest staff ever. They were young too, but so sweet. Great service all the way around the board. I can't believe I have lived in this town for almost 4 years and have never been to the gem of a shop. I am glad the cake is over with, I almost ate myself into a diabetic coma. Haha

Excellent change from the hustle and bustle of other chain coffee shops. Simple but nice drinks, food made to order, and many gourmet deserts to choose from.
Only complaint that could be made is that there is no wifi and cellphone service is particularly bad inside.

Very tasty croissants and cold brew coffee. It's just pretty expensive as just the above can leave you with a $9+ bill. Definitely recommend a try once! But if you appreciate your wallet it probably shouldn't be a regular stop.

The atmosphere is relaxing 😌in such a way as to belay the effects of caffeine. The merchandise is varied perfectly. The Gelato is delicious. I always enjoy a visit.

When my family comes to the area, Rao's is a MUST stop for us. Their baked goods, sandwiches, and the Italian Ices are all amazingly good. Friendly and prompt service. With an added bonus of also having unique gift items. We love this place.

I absolutely LOVE Rao's Bakery. It is much better than Starbucks. Everything is very fresh and yummy - I seriously have not had one bad choice here! I only come to Nederland for work and I make sure to get my morning coffee and breakfast at Rao's. Also, try the sugar cookies. I HAVE to bring them back home with me when I leave town because everyone loves them so much.

So quaint. Good customer service. Good coffee and desserts.
