This local gem sits within a stone's throw to the neighborhood Starbucks, but I come here every time.....and so should you. The coffee is AMAZING, the service is very personable and attentive, and the atmosphere and patio can't be beat. Shop local!

Great quality, amazing flavor!
This is how coffee was meant to be had!
I can remember visiting a coffee plantation in Costa Rica almost 10 years ago and thinking “this is the best cup of coffee I have ever had”. That’s the flavor that the Java Owl coffee house captures in every cup.
FRESH, HOT, AROMATIC, TASTY, and surprisingly NOT OVERPRICED.

My favorite coffee shop in the Nassau Bay/Clear Lake area. The owner, John, is such a delight to talk to. He created a beautiful, relaxing space with delicious lattes.

The best craft coffee shop in the Webster area. You can tell the owner cares and makes the extra effort when it comes to making their coffee. If you order a lavender latte it'll be garnished with a little bit of real lavender. If you prefer a latte with chocolate and orange, it'll have bits of orange peels on it. They go the extra mile with their coffee and it shows with the excellent quality.

Best tasting coffee in the area. A bit on the sweeter side. So if you don’t like that ask for very light syrup. Overall loved it.

We arrived before 9am and there was no line. We ordered and sat outside on the patio. It took less than 10 mins to get our muffin, hot chocolate and latte. The owner came out and spoke to us (I assumed he was the owner) very nice man. The guy behind the counter was friendly too. I had the pecan maple latte since they don't have pumpkin spice until the 17th of this month, it was good. My husband ordered hot chocolate and said it was a little too rich. My suggestion is to introduce pumpkin spice on the 1st of October 🙂 since so many peeps love it, and also offer flavored hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee but might be coming with those who do.

We stumbled into the Java Owl while on vacation. From the outside, did not have high hopes. Boy was I wrong! One of the best coffee experiences I’ve had. Thoughtful crafting by knowledgeable baristas with quality ingredients. There seemed to be a strong focus on the in-store experience which showed up in great table interactions and speciality mugs and glassware for a latte vs a cortado vs an iced americano. And it was inexpensive. Amazing!

Everybody needs to come here at least once. This is definitely not your fast food style chain in & out type shop. This is a pretty unique place , my favorite is the lavender latte with a pump of orchid syrup. This is very cozy shop , very warm and friendly. I got a chance to talk to the owner he wanted my opinion on his spiced pumpkin blend because he wanted to perfect it. I haven't even been coming here long but it's amazing please go.

Forget your ⭐💵 ... This place was amazing. From their coffee to it's ambiance on a Friday night. Welcoming to all ages. Will definitely come here again. Their Lavender Latte was my drink of choice.

This place is absolutely great. I spent less than what I would have at Starbucks for 2 people and left far more satisfied. If you haven't visited this place you owe it to yourself to try it at least once.
