Java Owl Coffee House

We stopped for necessary caffeination and the Owl filled that need nicely. My wife got her usual frozen blended thingy, it was amazing. I went with my usual hot cappuccino wit' two splendas, also done very well. We scored a couple excellent cookies, one cowboy and a coffee cake cookie....the coffee cake was good but the cowboy was the winner....comes with everything. They sell whole beans roasted by Zelie out of Sugarland and Geva....picked up some of the Java Owl Nassau Bay Coastal Espresso roasted by Geva....tried some and they get 5 stars from both of us. They had some nice t shirts, found one the right color with cool graphics and my size....very nice place and deservedly popular. We'll definitely be back for more when we're in this area.

Love it. Owner and staff are friendly. Good coffee. Cozy atmosphere. Outdoor seating reminds me about coffee in Paris.

Great coffee and great service! The ambiance is perfect for an afternoon coffee with friends. We enjoyed our coffee as there were plenty of choices.. sugar free, decaf, vegan and Keto snacks available, as well as fresh espresso or drip coffee.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed! Our drinks were great, loved the small details like the apple chip on top of my husbands apple butter latte. Surprisingly enough the chive and cheddar scone was the highlight for me though. It was delicious.. wish I would had gotten two!

Coffee shop hopping is my hobby and this place is definitely in my top 5.

I had vanilla latte and holy cow. Ahhhhhhmazing!!!! Not too sweet, not bitter, just perfect. Temperature was spot on too. Only regret is not getting another. I will definitely go back.

Inside is super adorable. I stood in line to order for awhile, but trust me, it's worth the wait.

I wasn't fan of the cookie they had, but it doesn't matter, coffee is amazing. What else can you ask for.

The absolute BEST coffee presentation!! Whatever you decide to take from the menu, you will NOT be disappointed by the visual beauty! Their frappes are DELICIOUS and lattes are wonderful. The people working here are so welcoming and hospitable, it can't get any better than this. Shout out to the owner for instantly recognizing regular customers and greeting them with a welcoming and acknowledging smile! Will definitely keep visiting!
Edit: Everytime I walk in here, I realize again and again why this place deserves a perfect 5 star. It's so easy to differentiate this place from literally every other coffee place in Greater Houston. Eagerly look forward to trying every coffee on their menu because the presentation is always a pleasant surprise!! Their choco chip muffin is great too!

This place deserves 6 stars. Not only is the coffee DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFULLY presented, but the owner is beyond kind. I came here early on a Friday morning with slim hopes of snagging a table with a plug for my laptop. I walked inside, glanced around and saw no open tables, and began to walk back to my car when the nicest man, who turned out to be the owner, ran out after me and offered me his table (with a plug!!) that he was using inside. I was and still am blown away by this level of customer service and how kind the owner and all of his staff are. In the pictures are the honey owl and peppermint mocha lattes, both which were delicious!

Such a great experience! The staff was beyond friendly and the owner working behind the counter had a fun personality. The decor is adorable and the outdoor seating is convenient, especially because of how busy it was inside. Overall great vibes at this coffee shop.

Great place to study, read a book ,get together or simply have a coffee date.

I wanted to try a new coffee shop and decided to give this place a try. I wanted the red velvet frappe but they were out so I ended up getting the cookies and cream frappe. It was absolutely delicious and 100x better than the ones I get at Starbucks and Black Rock which are the usual coffee places I go to. And this place added whipped cream on top of my frappe without me having to tell them unlike the other places.

Customer service was also very good. The workers were all very friendly and a man who I'm assuming is the owner was greeting everyone and cleaning up after the customers.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no menu on the wall. I had to wait until it was my turn to order to look at the menu they have in front of the register table. I've never been here before so I felt like I had to quickly choose something so I don't hold up the line.

Overall, I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely be coming back.
