Silver Grizzly Espresso

First time in Longview but here for a few days and I forgot my coffee maker so I just searched coffee thinking they were 3 minutes away. This place is adorable. Real laid back atmosphere, clean minimal style with a great latte. If they were in Dallas I'd definitely kick it there on a regular.

The top coffee shop in all of East Texas by far. They roast their own beans so you know it's fresh and they staff are helpful and willing to go the extra mile.

Even if you don't stop by, order some of their coffee online! You won't regret it!

There aren't many coffee shops in East Texas that serve high-quality espresso. Silver Grizzly is one of the few that does! Their espresso and pour-overs are high quality on an average day, and some of their baristas have an astoundingly high quality ceiling. They also have a good, rotating selection of beers on tap, often featuring local brews from Oil Horse Brewery (across the street), True Vine Brewery (in Tyler), and ETX Brewery (also in Tyler). Highly recommended!

Awesome place!!!! Having worked at a coffee shop, I am now SUPER picky about my coffee/lattes. Especially because I often get decaf with no added syrups or sweeteners so it's so much easier to taste any imperfections in the drink. And I have NEVER gotten a drink here that was not absolutely fantastic!!! Staff is always great, and the atmosphere is perfect. Coolest place in Longview!!!

Only stepped in for a minute to get coffee to go for a nighttime drive home. Very nice, calm but energetic vibe. It was full of people visiting and studying, but not loud, which was impressive because it's a big place with very tall ceilings. The baristas were helpful and kind. I'd definitely go again if I was in the area!

Great atmosphere, nice selection of coffee AND tea, friendly baristas, delicious Maple Bourbon Latte. I did not try to cookies, but more than one in my party declared them "amazing". I look forward to my next visit.

Anyone visiting the Silver Grisly is down for a wonderful experience. It is a welcoming place with a comfortable atmosphere and relaxing architecture. Its a gem in the rough when it comes to the city of Longview. Their coffee is superb with many different seasonal and regular favorite simple syrups. The coffee art is always fun to observe and enjoy. They have standing tables benches and regular tables all for your convenience. The atmosphere is fantastic for studying and doing any kind of work you might need to do outside of the office. 10 out of 10 will continue to be my main Coffee House.

Beautiful aesthetics and design. The coffee is great and if you want to take your experience up a notch, pair it with one of the salted chocolate chip cookies, warmed up. 🤌🏻✨

As a tourist I enjoyed the quietness and laid back atmosphere. My fiance and I stopped because of all the outstanding reviews. It was extremely clean and the stools we're comfy. By no means we're we rushed at all. However, I felt like I was bothering the two ladies at the counter. It could of been just me, but he noticed it too. The bathrooms we're immaculate. They even had a baby changing table with a spare diaper and sanitary napkins. That alone was pretty amazing! The cost was a little high, but just passing through I had to try.

The Silver Grizzly is an expansive and diverse space that is filled with natural light - a perfect study spot for college students.
Bridge 281, a formidable competitor, does not offer the relatively early open hours that this pleasant hangout locale offers.

I ordered, and am impressed with, their Blue Crane herbal tea.
Their menu has plenty of options, and everyone I know who has been here loves their foods and drinks.
