This was my first time visiting Longview, Texas. The friend I was traveling with highly suggested Silver Grizzly Espresso. The interior was expertly designed, creating a warm and comfortable space to work, connect and enjoy a beverage. The staff engaged me right away with a friendly and warm smile. I had a cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso. It was a perfectly handcrafted drink. If you are ever in Longview, you must stop by the Silver Grizzly!!

My husband and I stopped here while traveling, and we absolutely loved it. Nice shop with a great atmosphere, the service was kind and quick. We both ordered lattes, and they were amazing. Best decaf I think I've ever had, and their regular espresso was exceptional as well.

Honestly one of the top coffee shops that you’ll find in Longview, Texas. They’re lattes are on point, and their seasonal drinks taste amazing. If you want to really treat yourself get a chemex to share with a friend.

High five to the place. Modern, clean, and has variety of coffee, tea with some good treats. First time here and definitely will come back whenever in town.

I am sincerely impressed. You don't often find a coffee shop that takes such pride in the quality and craftsmanship of each drink they pour. They weigh each grind before they pull their shots and are not afraid to start over if it doesn't meet spec. They definitely have the best coffee in this town.
Their prices are uniquely higher than what I am used to paying in larger metropolitan area where there is more competition. I don't mind paying for quality, so I hesitate to slight SGE too harshly.
The space is wonderfully laid out. Booths, 2-tops, bar seating and a semi-private room that appears to be available for reservations.

In my opinion, they keep the AC blasting year-around to prevent customers from lingering too long. Vents blast the customers directly. It is so windy (AC) and cold inside that you will need a hoody or a jacket if you plan to spend more that 5-10 minutes seated at a table (summer included) The expensive coffee may offset their AC bills?
Other notables:
wi-fi
friendly and abundant staff
unique rotating beer taps
Not open on Sundays - the Chick-fil-A of coffee shops. 👎🏽
Loser / Karen,
If you like Starbucks garbage or require a quart-sized container of useless brown water, stay away and do not write a negative review of this awesome business.
Also, if you don't know how to walk into a business and quickly determine if you should get in line for service rather than sitting and feeling entitled because you weren't helped in your unique way, please refrain from posting 1-star reviews.Figure it out.

I used to have the place rated 5 stars when it was one of the only places to go downtown...I've created tons of street art around the place, made videos to promote the place, brought tons friends out there...On their 5 year anniversary I did over 8 hours of art out there and then kept dozens of kids intrigued creating art and the place hasn't so much as given me a discount on their coffee...which is the most expensive coffee I know of in town. I mean...they don't owe me anything...but it still just turned me off to this place that is in the heart of the art district...and has zero art on the wall and doesn't seem to support the arts.
The place seems to cater to the rich university kids, and if that's your vibe then they're a solid 5 stars!
