Cafe Barron's

5 Star service, 5 star meal, what a fabulous locally-owned business for lunch. Highly recommended and always ask your waiter, what is their daily favorite? Barron's Café is an excellent dining experience.

The food is tasty, the service cordial and unobtrusive, the atmosphere semi formal but not stuffy.

I got the mac and cheese with chicken and bacon. It was very good. Chandler was our waitress, and she was very nice.

Asked to leave because I carry a firearm. Very liberal anti-second amendment establishment. I won’t spend my money at a woke establishment.

The fish was good. The service was terrible.

The food took forever to arrive and the vegetables and potatoes were room temp at service. The waitress must have been having a really bad night as she was not friendly and bordered on rude when taking our orders. She never checked on us once the food arrived, never filled our drinks until we were ready to leave and asked for the check, there was trash on the floor from the moment we walked in that was never picked up, and there were tables that remained dirty and un-waited during our entire meal. My empty salad bowl also remained on our table throughout the meal.

I normally START tipping at 20% as I know from experience how hard waiting tables can be. Tonight, I left 10% and that, I felt, was overly generous.

We were hoping to find a nice place for “special occasion meals.” We’ll keep looking.

Had my first visit at Cafe Barron's a couple days ago. Was there with a large Real Estate group about 25 or so. Generally the service was good, as was the food. Although I did not actually get what I ordered. Still it was good. Had a choice of chicken or fish. I chose the fish. Was oven backed and breaded. Heard the chicken was tough from a couple people.

There were covid-19 precautions anywhere that I could see.

The wait staff was good but it didn't seem great to me and could have been a lot better. I would want to actually visit again without a large group of people and just have it a couple of us. Then see what the service and food is like.

It seemed as though the atmosphere was probably better outside the main conference room where I was seated so I really couldn't even say much for the true atmosphere but I have a feeling it's better than what I experienced. I will plan to go back and try it again one day. I'm not even sure what else is on the menu other than Fish and Chicken. Would be interesting to find out. If you're in the area, give them a try see what you think of them.

We love Barron’s Cafe! The service is friendly and excellent! The food is always delicious! We have tried many items on the menu and have never been disappointed. Even when they are crazy busy, they make us feel welcomed and special! We are blessed to have them in East Texas!

Food and drinks were great. Hot and crunchy shrimp and cajun toast dippers did not dissappoint. Bison burger was perfect. Service was nice. Good atmosphere. Perfect for a quiet dinner.

Absolutely great experience. Atmosphere is great and food is even better. We ordered the cheese tray and crab cakes for appetizers. They were both very good. The crab cakes were some of the best I've had. Wife ordered the hot and crunchy chicken and southwest linguini for me. Both were very good. We had carrot cake to top off the meal. We'll definitely be returning.

Made reservations for 745. The place wasn't as packed as I anticipated considering it was Valentines weekend. Shocked when we were sat at a tiny, corner table behind some doors that literally faced the wall. My Husband's view was a wall. Running joke of the night was, "Nobody puts baby in a corner." Service was a bit slow and we were told why several times by our waiter. Food was excellent though. We decided to cut our time short and split an entree just to
Save on time. Maybe we will try another time.
