First time here, on a little road trip. What a lovely place to stop and have lunch! The staff was amazing, and the food was awesome!

We used to eat here many years ago on our way to and from Houston. The food was excellent and the waitstaff were friendly and knew what they were doing. Understand it is under new ownership. Was not impressed with food. There also seemed to be a lot of chaos among the waitstaff not to mention unprofessional behavior. Not certain if we will return.

The fried green tomatoes and all the food was delicious; real country fare. The service made us feel like part of the family.

I was on another fishing adventure and stopped in at the courthouse whistle Cafe for lunch.
The food here was outstanding and the staff was friendly, courteous, quick, and professional.
These women employees are truly amazing and the food was outstanding.
Sincerely,

My first time going was on a Saturday morning around 10ish am. I opted for the buffet because they had everything I wanted to order. I got bacon, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. So the buffet was ok. The eggs were dry (and this can be a subjective review of eggs as some like dried scrambled eggs), the bacon was ok and my favorite thing was the pancakes. I like my food super hot and because I was disappointed with the first round of breakfast I did not go back for seconds; but then again I was full after the first round lol… The wait staff were amazing as they made sure I kept coffee in my mug. Staff is very friendly and I love that about this place. I will come back but ask to cook my food fresh rather than get the buffet.

FRIENDLY!! Menu is great for breakfast adequate for lunch. Home fries are unique with peppers and onions and potatoes crispy with soft centers. Both of our late breakfasts were excellent. Building includes arts and crafts shops that are good for browsing. A++

I honestly don't know how this place stays in business,
Order blueberry pancakes and the pancakes were still raw I mean it was batter and the waitress took a dollar off.
I ordered sausage and eggs and toast and hash browns and I could not distinguish hash browns from the sausage both of them were cooked beyond recognition.
I'm new in town definitely will not be going back there at all for any reason

I have posted a review on this restaurant before. It is the best local restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We have come in for both but truly enjoy the breakfast and the waitresses here. Good food, friendly service and staff, reasonably priced - what more can you ask for!
