Their sausage, egg and cheese croissants are amazing!!! We decided to stop after we saw the place during a road trip and so glad we did! So yummy! If you are driving by stop you won’t regret it!

Updated review:
I always try to give a place a benefit of the doubt and try them again after a time. My most recent visit was far better than my initial. The donuts were decent enough and the service was friendly and prompt. up 2 stars.
I would love to give you a review of how the donuts were, however since I never received any donuts I can't do that So this review is about the service or lack thereof and the incompetence at this location. I visited this location multiple times in a futile attempt to purchase donuts. On the first visit they couldn't take my card, during the pandemic when cards are the advised form of transaction. I had no cash because I haven't needed cash anywhere in months. So I left. I returned the very next day to give it another shot, this time with cash. They didn't have any of products I wanted ready. I don't understand why the open sign was turned on if they're not ready to serve the products they claim to sell. I will never bother to return to this place again. I gave them two chances and they utterly failed both times. This store reeks of incompetence and owes me my time they stole from me due to that incompetence back.
I wanted to add. Both times the ladies that waited on me were professional and friendly and I have no complaints about them.

So fast and friendly
Kolaches and doughnuts are amazing!

The food is great, always has been. I went to high school in the area, but moved away for college. The only problem is today, they double charged my husband today, his order was $12.59 and his credit card was charged twice.
On a positive note though, the jalapeño and cheese kolaches and donut holes are delicious.

I've always liked this donut shop and it's location is convenient. But I'm not returning because employees aren't wearing masks, particularly at the drive through. I was informed by the cashier she didnt have to wear one. We ARE under a statewide mask MANDATE and food service workers are not exempt. Luckily, there's another great shop in town, Lamesa Donuts. They are wearing masks and even have an acrylic screen at the drivethru.

Stopped in on our way through this little town. The donut I had was so good, I wished I had gotten more. The girl who helped us could have been more friendly. A smile and some eye contact goes a long way.

Went in as always and a woman asked me disrespectfully what i wanted. I figured she was having a bad day, so i continued. I asked for 2 dozen chocolate holes, a large coffee, and a dozen of kolaches. She rudely said she didn't have them so i asked for the sausage&cheese croissant for $12. Instead she charge me $24 for the dozen and said everything on the board wasn't what he seemed. Apparently, the prices are wrong on them. She gave me this snare and threw a fit on if i wanted them or not. I didn't want to start a commotion, so i just paid for it. But even with the dozen kolaches, coffee, and 2 dozen donut holes, its should of came out to about $31 but somehow came out to almost $40. I know the tax our government issues for its people but i hope she wasn't overpricing me or the customers for some "tips".
Even before i walked in, she was arguing with an old man about napkins because she only put 1 single napkin for a dozen donuts. Who ever is running this establishment should call in a meeting with his employees and fix this situation because nobody will buy breakfast from a nice place with disrespectful employees, then a small not so nice with friendly employees. This is just what i saw and was treated so its up to you if you dare take the risk. - Ziggyz

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in – the display case had a nice variety of glazed and cake donuts. The sweet smell in the air instantly puts you in a good mood. They serve good sized breakfast sandwiches if you’re not a donut fan and the fresh coffee hit the spot. Sit down and enjoy your breakfast there or take it to go. Morningstar is a welcome addition for breakfast in Lamesa. Move over McDonalds.
