Loved the hotel, the rooms were so nice and modern while maintaining the old building heritage. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and located just steps away from everything downtown Jefferson has to offer. Unfortunately there’s no temperature control in each room and our’s was very cold all night. There’s no hot water in the shower as they have a tankless on-demand system and I guess we never figured out how to demand hot water. We had trouble sleeping because the hallway light shines thru the thin curtains on the transom window and it was like trying to sleep with the light on. I heard the upstairs rooms don’t have that window so you might ask for an upstairs room if you like it dark to sleep. There’s no one on duty overnight so there’s no help with any issue that pops up. Bring an extra blanket, a sleep mask, don’t plan to shower and it’s a great stay.

I booked at this Hotel for me and my Son just to have a get away. The Hotel is beautiful. I loved the original wood floors. We stayed in room 201. The architecture is awesome. Me and my Son are definitely believers in haunted places now. As we were walking around and made our way upstairs my Son said he felt a warm sensation going up his arm and I didn’t think anything at the time but googled hauntings and warm sensations and sure enough it is a sign of a kind spirit. We were even more convinced after the next experience. I was in the restroom getting ready for the day and I heard what I thought was my Son getting up only to find out that my package of pecan brittle was knocked off of the nightstand quite away from the nightstand and loud enough to startle me. I knew their was no other way that this could have happened other than be knocked off of it. We are definitely both convinced after these two things happened. I was told that Spirits do exist by my grandmother and boy do I know it’s true now. I highly recommend this Hotel. The coffee was delicious as well and the young lady who worked there was welcoming.

My wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Kahn in Jefferson! We didn’t see/hear any ghosts, jut the hotel exceeded our expectations! The young lady (Stephanie) was amazing and took care of us. She even called me at noon of Friday to say that our room was ready and explained the checkin process. She checked us in, made our coffee, and made suggestions about what to do and where to eat. She was very knowledgeable, polite, professional, and hardworking. The room (204) was clean, quite, and had good tv and WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks!

It's a neat little Hotel. I did not realize it was haunted until yesterday when I was checking out. Asked Stevie (hotel manager) about the haunting rumors, and she has some stories. Claims she has seen the little boy ghost a bunch of times a the woman ghost a couple times. She'll runs the coffee shop and front desk has some stories.

The room was spacious and clean. The front personal was friendly. The only down fall was the water never got very hot it was just Luke warm.

Beautifully decorated rooms, very clean, nice bedding and pillows. We didn't see any ghosts unfortunately. The owner lives upstairs and is very nice. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the girls down stairs are not very friendly. I called and left 2 messages on our 6 hour trip down there to ask about check in. No return call. Upon arrival they did the minimum in checking us in. No chatting. No Hi how are you...let me tell you a little about this place....one word answers when you ask them a question. Here is your bill and your room. We felt we were a bother to them. No interest in talking about the building or anything local. We didn't let them ruin our stay. It's a beautiful building. Try it out.

This was fun! Denise, on the front desk, went way out of her way to accommodate my special needs (switched our room so I wouldn't have to navigate the stairs, went out to buy, but had to end up borrowing, a foot stool so I could climb into the high but comfortable bed). An added, special touch to the overall atmosphere was the creaky doors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but a word of advice to future travelers, the place is not handicapped accessible.

We stayed here for our honeymoon.
Over all, our experience at the Kahn Hotel was good. I'm rating it 3 stars for a few reasons. Here are some pros and cons.
Pros:
-Clean, tidy, beautifully remodeled rooms.
-Toiletries provided.
-Coffee shop downstairs was very convenient .
-Management was excellent and accommodating for our late check in.
Cons:
-Unlike most hotels, they don't have staff that come in to make your bed or refill toiletries so you get one set of toiletries for 2 people.
-Room was VERY small, walls are SUPER thin. We heard some else's -TV and some women partying 2 doors down.
-No obvious "Activity" in room 202 however we did catch some orbs which was pretty cool!
-Bring a pillow from home if you can- the pillows were THICK, both my husband and I's necks were stiff after the first night, the second night I slept with no pillow.
Neutral:
Price was a little high for our experience (a little over $350 for the weekend) but we understand we are paying for the historical aesthetics and we appreciated that too.

This hotel is an absolute Gem to stay at. Very nice rooms, good prices and the staff is very friendly. Melani (the manager) was very accommodating, friendly and very patron oriented. My wife and I look forward to our next stay here!

The Kahn Hotel came up in a search of ghostly haunts in Jefferson. We booked a room when a full moon and Friday the 13th collided. Our crew was able to set up cameras in our room while we hunted in some local haunts. We’re not true believers of ghostly activities, but we are insatiable adventurers. Jefferson and the Kahn Hotel gave us an adventure we will talk about for many years to come.
For those who just need a great place to sleep and hang out, the hotel is located in the downtown area among the shops and within walking distance of popular nightlife. There is a full coffee shop with awesome choices. Our room had period furnishings with a modern kitchenette that included a small sink, a few kitchen accessories, a fridge and a microwave.
We also have to give Sheila credit for her involvement in our stay. Her concern of our needs made ensured that we had all we needed for a wonderful stay. She was knowledgeable and willingly share history of The Kahn and the area. And on top of that, she’s a great barista!
Thanks to Sheila and The Kahn Hotel for a very comfortable and fun filled adventure!
