SWEET

Other than a great coffee, the cupcakes are some of the best I've had. A little secret, every day is a different special. For example, Tuesdays the cake balls are 2 for $2 - this is information I did not need to know as the cake balls are a constant request from my 2 daughters. Everything I've had here has been great. The macaroons, croissants - you name it! AND, they're open early to grab a last minute treat for a coworker's birthday!

Friendly staff. Fantastic cake and banana bread. My husband raves about the cookies and cream cake. They also have great coffee and macaroons if that is something you're into. If you're in the area I recommend stopping by.

With short notice, my CEO asked me to arrange a meeting for our team and provide sweets. I have one team member who is sensitive to gluten, so she couldn't eat what the rest of us were having. SWEET has two gluten-free cupcake options. My order was delivered exactly on time, and the VP said I spoil her. Definitely made my life easier.

Full disclosure: this was my first time here, and this is the only thing I've ever tried. I like the look of the place (classic French country style), tiny and cozy in feel, along with very nice staff.

I tried the Organic Green Tea. I've had green tea many times, sweetened and unsweetened. This didn't even taste like tea. It's difficult to describe, but with liquid sweetener (apparently it's made from real cane sugar), it not only wasn't sweet, but tasted sort of like bad tap water mixed with a strange industrial/chemical taste, like a plastic or styrofoam container that's been heated in the microwave and left a taste on your food. It was just too gross, and I asked them to throw it away after telling them what it tasted like. They apologized, but didn't try to make up for it. They just took it and threw it away, and that was it.

I don't plan to ever come back. First impressions are always important, and this one doesn't encourage me to give this place a second chance.

I love this coffeehouse. This is my favorite coffee in all of Houston. It tastes soooo yummy!!! Great customer service. I love Allie, Kate, Vanessa, and Angelica!!! They are all very sweet girls and brighten my day. Sweet is very blessed to have these girls on their team!!!!

These 2 stars are only for the sweets, they are good but I have no desire to go back there again. The customer service and the customers have no consideration for people of color. I have been there at least 4 times and each time the cashier rushes us out the line to help the next person behind us. Today, a lady skipped the entire line to order and the cashier was going help her until I said something, just pathetic.

Dry, small and somewhat bitter funny taste is how I would describe their cupcakes. I've gotten way better cupcakes at HEB for $2.00. In my experience you can spend your money elsewhere for a much, much better desert.

Disappointed! I purchased three cupcakes on Sunday (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry) and all of them were dry! I ate here twice before last year and don't remember the cupcakes being such a disaster. The staff is nice and the decor is nice but it doesn't make up for the hard cupcakes!

I never write reviews but I insist on letting everyone know this place ain't worth your money. The ladie(s) were super rude and very unhelpful. I asked for a specific dessert, and they gave me the wrong one, charged me for it, eventually gave me the right one and charged me for that one too. Not to mention, I also ordered a cake, expecting it to be fresh, but after my first bite I came to concision the cake was very dry and not fresh what so ever. Overall I would give the place a zero stars, but Google requires at least 1 star.
