Awesome red velvet brownie and croissant. Calvin was great!

Not sure why the previous coffee shop closed, but this one is nice too!
My friend and I stopped in for some to-go treats. I had an almond milk latte with almond syrup, my friend had their Mexican Mocha, and we also ordered a Cortado with nonfat milk.
The almond syrup addition to the almond milk latte was nice - it was like a boosted version of the traditional almond milk latte. The Mexican Mocha was decent, although my friend probably wouldn't order it next time around. Nothing against the coffee shop, just wasn't favorable to his taste buds. The Cortado had a cute design on top.
Inside the shop, there's lots of natural light and even a food truck outside. I'd come by again.

Came by few months ago when we visited Houston. Other than the cool look I don't think there is anything else to bring us back here. The predecessor, Inversion coffee, had great customer service and amazing coffee/espresso drinks. A change in ownership or management may do the trick to prolong this business' survival, otherwise I don't think Canary Montrose will last much longer.

Love these guys, great owners, great vibes in the coffee shop, the location is where inversion was and I love that there is plenty of parking. That is tough to find in Montrose. The pastry program is great too.

Delicious coffee, great prices, clean environment, plenty of parking, super friendly staff AND dog friendly patio. What more can you ask for? Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in Montrose.

Went in with two coffee drinkers. I asked for water because I don't drink coffee and did not want tea as it was 90 degrees. I was directed to a room temperature water dispenser. Yum....

Lots of individual seating options and parking. They have non-dairy milks and sometimes have a vegan or a gluten free pastry option (I had a vegan lemon poundcake and it was delish). Fyi caramel syrup is not vegan. I had the Mexican mocha flavor for my latte and it was not my thing (very sharp in taste). I also had the chai latte and it was really great! It was light and had a nice chai aroma.

So glad to have another great cafe nearby, and one that makes real matcha (without sugar)! Baristas are super nice and the drinks are great! And they provide masks for free. Hoping for more hours in the future. 🤞🤞🤞
