I'm on the road quite a bit. The saying is try. Ask the locals and they will recommend the best places. Did was excellent. Service was beyond great. Had the best BLT and sweet tea. It will be my lunch spot when I do in Glen Rose.

Quaint little place. You feel like you are in a storybook when you enter in the door. Had tea and cobbler and it was delicious!

The Reuben sandwich is always a great choice! Enjoyed playing trivia while we waited for a food. My daughter said this place always feels homey!

Delicious food and great atmosphere, even has a play section for kids. Food is simple but utterly delicious. Sinfully great desserts, especially that coconut cream pie. Had a roast beef and cheddar on pretzel bread, so very good, and tasty authentic kettle chips. Also excellent sweet tea and homemade pickles. Must visit in Glen Rose!

Stop here! Great food and the atmosphere is so unique and warm. Grab a book or a card game with your lunch and get the sweet tea bc it's perfect.

We drove dkwn here today to meet with my frie d's brother/sil for lunch. It was easy to get to, straight down Hwy 67 out of Miothian, Tx just a bit over an hour's drive.. The menu had good choices. Prices were reasonable. The food tasted very good. My husband raved about the Deli Ruben sandwich. Said it was as good or better than a good New York Deli. My friend and I shar3d a Turkey an, chees, and avicado wrap which was quite good (although a bit more turkey would have been nice).
Basically the cafe is inside a used book store. That was cute. I even purchased a few books. The restrooms were clean. The food was good. The service was great and friendly. The only negative is there is only 3 parking spaces out front - luckily we got one.
If you're headed down Hwy 67 towards Glen Rose, its a nice place to stop for lunch or a Cappuccino.

Always awesome! Get the ultimate grilled cheese on sourdough.. So good! Excellent soup and side pastas daily as well. Unique, memorable, and delish!

Storiebook Cafe was the best little stop! We were checking out the food scene in town and it looked cute so we dropped in. The food was amazing (I had a Reuben and coconut creme pie) and we loved the cozy family atmosphere! Our food was quick and hot, and our server was a ton of fun, kept our tea coming. We'll definitely be back!

Great food and great atmosphere! I had the triple decker turkey club, huge! Wife had the chicken salad sandwich, quite tasty! The boys loved the kids grilled cheese with apples and caramel!

What a delightful experience this place provides! I stumbled upon this restaurant for brunch and I intend to come back frequently. It's a brilliant ambiance of books, funny, dramatic analogies in the art, and the food is fantastic. Enjoy the ”pawpaw pickles” as well. You won't find that anywhere else.
