Fantastic little coffeehouse with great desserts and drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and had great suggestions for what to order.

I didn't order anything but ice water for myself, but it was a beautiful little cafe, not crowded, with friendly and kind baristas. Definitely want to go back again.

I brought my three granddaughters for the afternoon tea. There was some sort of glitch in their system and the staff didn’t realize we were coming. They were very accommodating -and quickly set up the table. The food was amazing and everyone loved the tea. Their service is a “10” and so is the food! The girls loved everything! Thank you for making this such a memorable occasion!

Had the spinach and feta pastry and a vanilla latte. The pastry was very tasty. I found the coffee a little on the weak side but still good

Adorable coffee shop and super friendly staff. Stopped in for a cookie and drink and was not disappointed. I recommend this place for a nice coffee meet up.

4 stars for the food: The bakery items and desserts are pretty good, better than most alternatives here in Georgetown. However, the cheesecake and pistachio ricotta cakes were still frozen when I got them.
1 star for the service: I scheduled an 8-item pickup order days ahead for a Friday morning. After picking the order up and hitting the road, we noticed that 1 bakery item was missing. So I called Rivery Coffeehouse and spoke with a girl, explained the missing item. She took down my email address and we agreed that she would send me some kind of gift card to make up for it. When the gift card didn't arrive later that evening, I sent Rivery a reminder. One week later, and I never received anything. Just keep in mind that the service is subpar. In my case, paid for an item, never delivered, and neglected afterward.

Update: eventually a manager refunded the missing item. The whole ordeal took a couple weeks to resolve.

Very friendly, nice meeting place inside and out, WiFi availability. Food is delicious all made within the walls of the coffeehouse. Also a young gal made me the best cup of coffee I have had in a long time. Thank you for making me feel at home.
