1418 Coffee

Love, love, love! It makes me sad I live in Fort Worth now, so I can’t make this my regular spot. I was desperate for some coffee after a doc appointment so I could make the drive back home, and my Google Maps search showed me this gem. The only downside was the wait time for my coffee and sandwich, which was about 15-20ish minutes, because there was only one woman working to make the coffee and the food. But that may just be because someone called in or something, so it was no biggie. Everything else was AH-mazing! The barista was so friendly and called everyone “love,” which was adorable. I told her it was my first time and that I was overwhelmed with all the things I wanted to try, so she actually suggested a drink for me, gave me a sample to make sure I would like it, and truly engaged with me, rather than making me feel like “just another customer.” I ended up getting a coffee that had lavender (which I’ve never had before) and caramel together, at her suggestion, and it was magical! I was so sad when I took the last sip! The sandwich, The Haggard, was also so good! If I lived here, I would totally come back. The atmosphere was awesome too—I would totally do work or studying there.

I went by during lunch just to relax and recharge before going back to work. Such a nice little spot, so nice and cozy and relaxing. I’m afraid I’ll be back lol

Very inviting space with friendly service and tasty drinks. Great for both meeting up with friends as-well-as working on the laptop.

Calm vibes so you can get work done. I love the lighting. And they have a great taco deli… just wish they were open in the evenings.

The newly adjusted hours have it so they don't open before 8am during the week... So no coffee before work here

Love it here. Great coffees, tea, smoothie, frappes, etc and tasty sandwiches! We enjoy stopping by for lunch.
