The Cornerstone Cafe

For the past year, I've eaten here mostly for lunch. I've been here alone and with friends and I've been here when it was peak lunch time and when it was not so busy. The service was always good. The food was excellent. Portions are just what I prefer with reasonable price. The location is perfect with windows facing the courthouse. I've eaten at this location for many years so it holds dear to my heart the many memories made with friends.

Delicious breakfast, Good coffee& friendly waitress. Ordered scramble chicken…..so good.

Great food and large servings. I had the old fashioned hamburger which was huge but not as old fashioned as I can recall. It's almost there but something was missing...either seasoning or plain ol salt and pepper. Eggs and chicken fried steaks look delicious though. Great historical location, come them a try!

Great food and great service. We have been here a few times and definitely plan to continue coming back. The staff were all very friendly and the waitress made sure to keep us updated on the status of our food. The fried pies are the best we’ve had! Even if you are stopping in for a meal, you have to get yourself some pies to go. We are glad to support a locally owned small business!

Found this place on our way to Oklahoma and were very happy we did. Food was great and our waitress was fabulous.

This is the definition of excellent customer service: I just went in this afternoon afternoon for lunch. I walked in and the young lady said: "I'm sorry, but we are actually closed." I was disappointed and starved! She said the cook had just turned the stove off, so they couldn't cook anything. I asked if I could possibly do something to go real quick. A young man piped up and said "We have donuts." I turned my nose up because I just don't like donuts. I asked if they had sandwiches and she said yes. She pointed out a club sandwich and asked if I wanted chips or fries. Then corrected herself and said let me see if the cook has any fries. I was hopeful, but didn't really expect it. She came back out and told me he had fries. The other lady piped up and said they may not be fresh. Then the young lady who was my server asked if I still wanted it to go. I asked if it was possible to eat here and she said yes. She even asked me what I wanted to drink. A few minutes later she brought me out my food. I enjoyed my lunch and they were all so polite, courteous and helpful. I am in complete awe of these people who went out of their way to make sure I got fed before they closed. This is the best customer service I have ever received! From now on, I will not spend my money anywhere else! You will have my business as long as I am alive and I will make sure to tell everyone where to go get the food and customer service in town!

What a disappointment! I was really hoping for a good breakfast place in town. This was not it. I had a waffle, two eggs and bacon. My husband had a burrito, hash browns and biscuits, and we both had coffee. The hash browns were the best part of the meal, but were nothing special. I buy Eggo waffles occasionally, and I have to say, they are far better than the waffle I was served today. The eggs and bacon were cooked almost beyond recognition and dried out. The coffee was drinkable, but not great. I will say the coffee was nice and hot - a plus. If you are a breakfast restaurant and cannot make a decent egg, something is seriously wrong. I just wonder if the cook or any of the staff is tasting what they are serving!!

Delicious breakfast! Love love the fried pies! Better than previous owners pies! Highly recommend!

My breakfast was mediocre
at best, my hash Browns were still cold in the middle.. the biscuits and gravy were hard and didn't seem freshly made .
