I really wanted to like this place, when you walk in the ambience is fantastic, however it went downhill form there! One person in front of me, took an age to order my coffee, then another age to get it made.
I had high hopes on the taste, but some how disappointed, taste was a little bitter almost sour, for me, normally a sign that some robusta beans are in there, but could be wrong. Now coffee taste is very individual so go try it for yourself as I do like to support local businesses!
I really should try it again might have just been a one off!

Great coffee drink and friendly service. One of the best coffee shops to study in west Houston. Comfortable seats as well.

Due to the frequent business meetings I have, I’ve basically tried most coffee shops in Katy. I can say with confidence that the First Cup Cafe and Kona Reserve/ Roastery are the BEST in Katy. Not only the quality of coffee is good, but also the environment is clean and allows you to have a good block of time for work. With the private conference room that First Cup Cafe has, it allows for a focused and private meeting area. The staff are also very friendly and make you feel welcome.

Great customer service! Love the food and the pastries. This is one of our favorite places to go and hang out. My husband and I always are looking forward to come.

I stop here about once a month while driving by on I-10. I think it's worth the detour. The coffee is always good and the food is as well. The employees are unfailingly polite and friendly. I like the beef empanada and their carrot cake the best.

I live in the neighborhood and always go to the newer Starbucks on 1463 and 1093, never again! I just happened to decide to come here today and wow, what a great little spot. This place has a variety of seating including a really comfy and clean couch. It has several low tables for seating 4 people, higher tables that seat 2 and a bar that seats individuals and faces out the windows. It also has a seperate room for larger groups or meetings...what a great idea! The place itself is very clean, the staff is friendly...but most important, the coffee is really good! I love my starbuck flavor, but this was way better and tastes more like a craft coffee...really good. It's now my new coffee spot and I'm supporting local business!

Great little spot. Just off the main road of 1463 so its a little less busy than the nearby starbucks.
Plenty of tables and outlets for laptop work. They also have a meeting room area which can be rented or used by individuals trying to have a quiet call.
Busy between 8.30 and 10 but quiet enough. Seems to be a good meeting spot for groups, church folks and business folks.

Despicable. This business fires autistic employees because they feel uncomfortable. Please consider taking your business elsewhere with businesses who are gracious and kind to all members of the community..even if they are different.

Very nice atmosphere with high tables, sofa, and bar seating available. They have a private board room style section available first come first serve. Drive thru is here as well which is super convenient. Great selection of delicious coffee. Very spacious inside with fast Wifi and plenty of outlets. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area!

Food was actually good but the single-use plastic utensils (for dine-in order) were lame.
It really makes a difference to many of us who care about the environment and also don’t enjoy eating off plastic when we pay decent prices for food. It would be nice for newer businesses to lead the charge since Houston will likely ban single-use plastics soon.
Also, none of us were full when we left- not one. We paid $30 for 2 adults and 2 kids and everyone barely got a snack.
I wish there was an option to make our food a ‘meal’ and perhaps add a side of fruit or toast. I would be willing to pay more.
First Cup cafe has a lot of potential as a restaurant, but for now- it’s definitely just a coffee shop, not quite a café. The food photos are deceiving- I wouldn’t come back for ‘breakfast’ again until there were a few changes. We ordered quiche and bagels.
