This is our second time going to coffee box. Both times we have had the same issue. They have terrible service and a horrible system for keeping track of orders. The first time we went we thought it was just because they were busy, they gave people the wrong drinks because they don’t ask for names or pay attention to customers once they order. They just set the drinks out with no description or calling of drinks most look very similar. They made our drinks after several people behind us and when I went to ask about it they then made them the wrong and smaller size than we had paid for it almost took us 30-45 minutes for 2 simple drinks and pasties they didn’t even warm. The drinks were fairly good and unique. We decided to try again when it was less busy, there was one person ahead of us and no body else. They proceeded to make people’s drinks out of order and several people behind us got their drinks and food before us. We were waiting 15 minutes before we got our drinks when there was only one order with two drinks in front of us. Then when I had asked they couldn’t find the order, and didn’t really say much and just handed me drinks. I asked what drink was what and they didn’t even know. They gave us a wrong drink and they were not good and just thrown together. The baristas didn’t really even care either time, there was no remorse or apology. I understand when it’s busy it can be like that but clearly their system is flawed and needs some help keeping track of orders. Also, some kinder baristas that actually care about their customers and the product they are paying for may help. Get some printable labels, write the order on the cup, or even ask your customers names, and have a separate pick up area too maybe. All simple things that could easily improve your system and probably save everyone some time and stress. We will not be coming back or recommending.

Great little place. The drinks are all really good, and the mazapan items are a definite highlight. Good place if you're lactose intolerant since there are options to substitute the milk. Atmosphere is lovely, and it is in a good location for walking around with a drink.

The nicest place in downtown ELP. Opening hours are great, nice variety of coffee drinks hot and cold, and are very decent at taste too. Espresso Machiato was great to go with the cinnamon denish

A really cool place, where they joined two storage containers together to make a coffee shop. Not much room inside, but they do have a seating area inside, and an outside sitting area on an upper level. The coffee was good and the staff was friendly and efficient. Spent a couple of mornings with my family enjoying the start of our day.

I love the coffee box! It's right in the middle of downtown. You can not miss it. The coffee is great! I drink it black so i can taste the roast flavors! The staff is always friendly and never rude. The drinks always come out good. They also have pastries to munch on when you order a drink. They have a full list of drinks to order from. This place is made out of train carts. It has a very interesting design. The top of the coffee box has a nice little patio with lights and an upstairs loft area with local art all on the walls. The wifi works really good and it's always quiet not to loud.

Cute place, but... I want a COFFEE drink, not a MILK drink. Their “small” is a big 12-oz but only one shot of espresso! So I asked for a second shot and less milk. I got a pretty-good cappuccino for a bit more than $5. As it turns out the medium is $3.85 and has *2* SHOTS. So what I should have ordered was a medium with 1/2 the milk!
