Boba Mi Amor

I love this place!! They are always working on new flavors and improving the ones they have!! i truly believe that is the best boba place in El Paso! I always recommended it to people who are looking for a boba drink. Boba Mi Amor is the place!!

We have always really liked bubble tea but never could find a quality place closer to home, but with this place opening, there is no need to drive to the other side of town for boba anymore.

Even though we showed up pretty late, they still let us order. I'm impressed that service was so amazing despite us showing up so close to closing time and almost expected to be turned away, but we weren't.

We ordered three teas: a classic milk, jasmine, and brown sugar. All were amazing and no one was unsatisfied. I think we'll definitely be stopping by more often in the future to try more of the amazing flavors on the menu. I look forward to coming in the day next time to sip tea in the beautiful cafe.

So delicious and CUTE 💖 we got the pinky milk with strawberry jelly (my young neices really liked it!), the thai tea with cheese foam with oat milk and tapioca bobas (creamy, less sweet bc of the oat milk but great!) and the thai tea with egg pudding (never had it and didn’t regret it, creamy egg pudding squares they put in your drink vs regular boba). The visit was worth it and our bobarista was super nice! Can’t wait to go back and try all their flavors, toppings and the Asian-Mex fusions!

Not your average typical boba spot. The flavors are so delicious and authentic . I had the taro milk tea boba (pictured on left) with cheese foam topping and it was soooo good! Not your average purple powdered taro but rather actual chunks of taro. So if you’re not familiar , it’s an acquired rich taste with tons of sweetness (taste like sweet cereal milk). Drinks are super rich in flavor and prlly the best boba and Thai tea in town!! Can’t wait to try them all! Make sure to add the cheese foam topping and support LOCAL!!!

Well, I know this is not everybody's cup of tea, but I LOVE this place!!

I love this place because they make their flavors using real ingredients in house, like real fruit or real taro root. This means that I get to take in fruit (wink wink) when I drink my fruity drink rather than artificial fake syrup. But this also means that their flavors are not intense as what many people are used to with those commercial syrups. This also means that their taro drink does not have that shinning purple color many are used to.

Also, the price tags are also a little steep compared to most places. But well, buying real thing is never cheap, right?

In most boba places, I stick to unsweetened milk tea with boba. It can be regular black milk tea, or milk tea with jasmine green tea, oolong tea, pu-er tea, or whatever the place has in house. I stay away from any syrupy or powdery drinks by all means. For Boba Mi Amor, I started with their jasmine milk tea in their soft opening. It was great, but not really "wow" honestly.

Then I got to try their taro latte. That's WOW! First time ever I got to drink real taro drink outside of my house in El Paso. I am so happy about that just because it's on the menu. That being said, the natural taro taste is just not that strong, so I was slightly dissatisfied. The next time, I fixed it by asking for extra taro as a topping. Now, that's spot on!! (dancing~)

Another thing I tried and fell in love with is the Matcha Mango Latte with Egg Pudding topping. The Matcha Latte and the house Mango puree were both good by themselves, but great when they came together. What really impressed me was their egg pudding. Honestly, I did not expect this to be house-made as well. I haven't check with the lovely owner ladies yet, but I am decently confident that they make their egg pudding themselves by the texture and taste... according to my almost 30-year boba drinking experience. (lol, yes, I came from the island where boba drink was invented, so....) Their egg pudding's taste is something between vanilla panna cotta and flan. Heavenly! I am going to start adding egg pudding to all my drinks in the future.

I am pretty sure Boba Mi Amor is going to ruin my diet plan this winter, but well, I just need to work out more for the yumminess I guess....

Best Boba in town by far! Super friendly staff with a cute and cozy atmosphere! The strawberry matcha is delicious. They have a ton of drink combinations and seasonal specials. Keeps me coming back!

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for awhile now because this place is just the best! Cute little unassuming spot tucked away in the Colony Cove III strip with pastel colored walls and a clean feel. Gina is truly the best. So sweet and helpful, remembers not only repeat orders but the people behind the orders. I always enjoy chatting with her and seeing her smile, brightens my day! :)

The boba is delicious and definitely the best I’ve had in El Paso (and I’m a bit of a snot about it being from Hawaii). They have extensive options for their teas and numerous add-ons, vegan options (which I’m vegan so yay me!), and you have ability to adjust your sweetness level since everything is made freshly with real ingredients.

We make it a point to go pretty often now as our “treat at the end of a long week”. Highly recommend anyone give it a try!
